Diane may be able to handle simple, quick divorces, but I can't recommend her otherwise. She represented me in an arbitration, but appeared to struggle with financial matters and didn't enjoy the respect of the arbitrator who ultimately made serious and costly errors. I hired a commercial litigator to evaluate Diane's and the arbitrator's work, and conduct an appeal - it became clear that Diane missed many key points in her analysis and execution. She billed an exorbitant amount of money, but made many errors and demonstrated little desire to be a strong advocate. I regret hiring her and believe the outcome would have been considerably better and far less costly if I had hired Michael Ghert at her firm based on the experience of others, his broader experience and higher energy and commitment to the role.

Excellent! Got things done after years with another lawyer. Focused on the legal tasks and directed me to other supports to help me save money and fees. Would refer anyone I know to talk to her first and not make the same mistakes I did.

excels at billing and nothing else. does not care and is most certainly NOT at all knowledgeable. somehow got a QC title added to her name and throws it around like its going out style. if it stands for QuaCk then yes she deserves it if its based on merit then she most certainly does not and hiring her will run up your bills and solve absolutely nothing. my exwife and i are worse off now because i hired this socalled lawyer. i have apologized to my ex and my kids but cannot undo the harm that the decison to hire mrs. harms caused all of us as a result of her poor work and bad advice.

represented me years ago and I cannot forget how awful she was. She loves the sound of her own voice...and bills you for it but gets nowhere. I heard she's now got a QC designation which I thought was for ethical lawyers only...I was wrong: QC must stand for QUACK

She is impossible to get a hold of and she does not review her work. Her separation agreement looked like a grade 12 legal class students work. I am very skeptical of her work ethic. Something that was meant to be easy turned into a money grab.

Be warned to stay away from this lawyer. I will not go into detail on a public forum however I can say that I confirmed with other lawyers that Ms. Harms had made very poor legal recommendations.

If your looking for a dedicated, tenacious, and ethical lawyer who has your 9and child's) best interest in mind, I would highly recommend Ms. Harms. There are so many extremely unethical and expensive lawyers who only think of the $$ and Ms. Harms is definitely not one of them. I'm suspicious of the comments previously posted as not being authentic.

I have faced some disappointment with Ms. Harms recently and wanted to see what others were saying. To my surprise I would say considering the seniority of this lawyer and influence in the community, she has been poorly reviewed. I prefer not to get into all the details on my case on a public forum but what I will say is that Ms. Harms has made serious mistakes on my case that have cost me dearly at a number of levels; some of these these mistakes as I was advised recently by other firms are irreversible, that could have easily been avoided. I would not say that Ms. Harms does not care about children as she too is a parent but I would go as far as to say that Ms. Harms totally dropped the ball and placed me in a very weak position overall for years to come. I would not recommend Ms. Harms to others.

I spent over 40, 000 dollars and never got a settlement, child or spousal support payments or my divorce settled. She was difficult to get a hold of and took frequent holidays.
