He is a great practical attorney for complex issues. We are a large global company and would never use anyone else.

Author of the Northrop Grumman/Xetron tax “plan” that attempted to take advantage of laid off company employees by having IRS tax selected non-vested layoff victims. The ex-employees involved in this nonsense lost any claim on their accrued corporate pension matching funds. Meisenhelder’s plan made sure that NG/Xetron would keep the company’s matching funds, while the tax burden for these un-taxed amounts would be placed on the layoff victims.
This absurd “plan” was initially approved by IRS. The “plan” was a powerful incentive for the company to get rid of any employee that was approaching their 5-year vesting period. When questioned about the fairness of this, Meisenhelder defended it and then stonewalled. After several years, IRS eventually reversed their initial approval of this nonsense “plan” and issued refunds to those victims that actually paid taxes on the imaginary “income” that Xetron benefited from.
