Attorney Maldonado was amazing and worth every penny. She worked very hard to get me what i wanted and needed in my divorce. She went above and beyond ro make me feel heard in court. People should know you cant get eveything you want but Attorney Maldonado at least was honest and upfront about my expectations and likely outcomes.

Attorney Maldonado is a wonderful lawyer who was not only knowledgeable but caring. She took the time to listen to me and worked diligently on my case and for what I wanted. I would recommend her to anyone I know.

Working on a divorce for me, wasted a ton of money and got me in a worse situation. I fired her and used this site to find better. Found better and cheaper. Stay away

Before starting mediation, both my ex and I wrote our own Parenting Plan drafts. A lot of points were agreed upon right away, but out of the ones which were disputed, the majority was ultimately conceded to my ex. Ms. Maldonado was too eager to reach a compromise, than to fight for what we proposed. I had to do a lot of the confrontational "negotiating" myself. In addition, the obvious loopholes in the language that the opposing party had purposely included in their version of the plan, were overlooked by Ms. Maldonado and if I did not catch them, they would have made it into the final version of the plan. Overall I never got the secure feeling that I had a competent attorney to whom I could trust to handle my case on her own. I am sure that Ms Maldonado will one day be an excellent attorney, but for now, her inexperience and lack of assertiveness makes her more fit for drafting agreements where both parties are amicable, or cases where it is obvious which party should win.
