Although I trusted my lawyer at the time that Pat would "not let me sink" and that she would soon see my ex's true colours, I was ill prepared going into Mediation. Was nervous already about mediating with a narcissistic abuser as most articles point to not going this route. My lawyer told me it would just be a discussion and a time for Pat to get to know both parties. Turned into a full day traumatic nightmare session. I was too stunned to get out sooner. Mediation session magically turned into an arbitration award. Pat sided with the narcissistic abuser as they always win in mediation. No evidence was used to come to this award, with numbers pulled out of the air. Pat pressured me into agreeing. Afterwards when I was having disputes with my abusive ex and he was improperly calling the police on me as a bullying tactic, Pat who was supposed to oversee the award and intervene with disputes sat back and didn't intervene, causing more harm. Not recommended. Frightening experience.

Complacent, biased and arrogant. She acts as if she is a judge when that is beyond her skill set. Find someone else who actually enforces their work without additional charge to enforce it. She is not an advocate for children. She is pro-mother and vilifies the father without paying attention to facts.

Pat has preconceived opinions with respect to her clients engaged in arbitration, mind made up prior to hearings, based upon prior history and submissions made, that which she shows little to no understanding of. Not familiar with the submissions provided on multiple occasions. Completely denies presentation of material during med/arbs, and hurries the presenter along. During the arb, she reversed on her own direction with respect to required expert reporting, denied further submissions AND sessions, even reversed on her own resignation as arb prior to making a judgement. She is highly unavailable for months, even year long sabbaticals. She refuses telecalls, hiding behind her assistant, which, as a team, mis-schedule arbs, allowing for as little as 2-3 working days notice to prepare. Her final arbitration documents are conflicting in and of themselves: ie. multiple dates for the SAME trigger event. Consider +2 questionably "deleted" negative ratings -> Total Rating: 2.0/5.0.

If you are dealing with any form of domestic violence DO NOT hire her for an arbitration. She completely dismissed any possibility around financial, emotional and psychological abuse (which these abusers us as tactics in the legal process). My domestic violent counselor came in a meeting. Pat dismissed and patronized my counselor and my situation. She refused to look, read through or use the financial statements and the financial information that was available, resulting for a chocking final financial arbitration around 3 properties and support. It was clear from the start of the award to the end that she did not know what she had written in the beginning, she made many mistakes, and completely favored my abusive ex. Her order was leaving me and the children with no house and loosing all my income I had build up after separation. The end conclusion is that the children and I are still living financial struggle, emotional and psychological abuse years later.

5 Stars!! Best of the Best. Professional, knowledgable, practical and easy to work with. Pat takes a very grounded approach--I felt as though I had a true advocate. Highly recommend--especially if you are the lucky fella that gets involved with ex. I better stop there--don't want to shatter the ever so delicate truce.
