If I could give them NO STARS believe me I would! He gets you hyped up takes your money & than abandons your case in between the hands of his paralegals filled with empty promises to say the least! When we spoke to him he said the waiver would take 10 months with a monthly payment plan, since my husband & I had been saving for this we had the money & asked if we paid upfront how long would it take, he snapped his fingers & said I'll have it ready for you in 3 Days. It took them two months but sure enough they cashed my check that same day! My waiver got approved in Jan & we are in April & guess what my case is on STANDY BY! I You call again for an update they don't answer & their mailbox is full I wonder why! His paralegal Gerardo even gave my husband his personal number when my husband texts him he doesn't answer his personal nor the office!! It was my mistake to RESEARCH MR ORTIZ till the end & read all the harm he's done to other people! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

El peor abogado que puede existir un ladrón estafador no ayuda con nada miente diciendo que todo está listo cuando nada es cierto el me robó mi dinero me proometio llevar mi caso y siempre que tenía cita para verlo siempre mellamaban unos 30 minutos antes y la cancelaban diciéndome que había tenido una emergencia y no podía atenderme porque no quería que me diera cuenta que no había hecho nada con mi caso, cambia de ayudante y secretaria constantemente porfabor paisanos ya no visiten a este sseñor es un ladrón inprofecional que no cumple con su trabajo es un ladrón con traje formal insolente que aún teniendo la culpase va contra la razón y contesta con altaneria si quieren regalar su dinero visiten a este ladrón vestido de abogado ??

Use Mr. Ortiz at your own risk, he says he can perform certain services but doesn't. He doesn't file his petitions on time if at all. He is a good talker, but doesn't do what he says he will do. HIS WORDS MEAN NOTHING. He is late for court, doesn't prepare his clients before hearings and doesn't keep clients informed. Because of lack of representation and not filing proper petitions timely 2 of his clients were deported. Be careful a word to the wise is usually sufficient. I have report Salvador to the B.B.B and the State Bar Association. I wouldn't even give him a star period but this site is requiring me to. If you want your family deported back go see Salvador Ortiz

Very horrible attorney and staff. Attorney makes a lot of promises and doesn't keep them. The few times I have had appointments made with him I always end up having the meeting with his Paralegal Esmeralda. She is not the attorney, it is very unprofessional for Mr. Ortiz to always pin his clients on his paralegal. That is HIS job! They never return calls. Always take messages and never return calls. The attorney is constantly out of the office and never there when we need him, what are we paying you for then?? I'm going to call the bar soon, this is absolutely ridiculous

I do not recommend this attorney. He and is staff will lie, they overcharge, and yeah, once you sign the contract you will NEVER hear from them again. Many times I have called only to have the very unprofessional and condescending Esmeralda confuse me with other people! I constantly have to correct her and tell her who I am and why I'm calling and it goes in one ear and out the other because she'll STILL keep confusing me with other people. How hard is it to open the darn file?! I had to hound them only to find out that they've been sitting on communication from immigration pertaining to my case for WEEKS! WEEKS! Go somewhere else, at the very least they'll charge you a lot less.

Mr. Ortiz and his staff helped me obtain my legal residency after I had been detained by the Immigration authorities. Other attorneys would not touch my case but Mr. Ortiz through his hard work was able to win my case and has also started work on my wife's case. I highly recommend him to all who need someone who will fight for you.

Lawyer and his staff are very knowledgeable and pleasant! I have been in their office personally and have realized how truly busy they are working on files and meeting with clients. As I sat waiting for the paralegal to finish my application, I realized that their phone rings non-stop. They are CONSTANTLY busy. Some people may complain but if they saw what I saw they would truly understand how hard this staff works to uphold the high volume of case load and phone calls that they receive. Their phones are ringing off the hook for 1 reason: THEY'RE A GREAT LAW OFFICE! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Worst immigration attorney ever, takes advantage of his own people. Attorney has hard time attending court appearances, and other times he is late. He simply goes to show he does not care. Over-priced and once you signed the contract, you will rarely hear from him personally. His unprofessional staff Esmeralda and Jasmine will lie, lie, and lie. Make sure to request copies of all the work they are doing. There in it to take advantage of people all the way. Would NOT RECOMMEND the LAW OFFICE OF SALVADOR ORTIZ, after they submitted my paper work w/ a deadline, a year later.

Very knowledgeable & extremely accessible to clients. Highly skilled in trials. He's helped my brother and another friend out of deportation. Great office staff, very professional & nice office. Charges are fair for the amount of work he does. I would recommend him.
