Me and my partner went to this firm for a simple real estate closing. We met with Mark who took on our file. Everything was good until it was time to sign the final papers. Some young lawyer walks in and when we asked where our lawyer was he told us Mark was busy and he was representing the firm. We asked multiple questions and it was obvious he had not even read the documents. There was a mistake and he did not know what to do. We ended up leaving. I called to complain and was told that this is normal practice and that we would not be getting any of our money back. We went to a different lawyer who handled it properly. I will never recommend this place to anyone ever.

I went for a consult alone and everything was great. He said i had a good case against my husband. my second meeting was good also. i brought my daughter who is 17 to our third meeting and he spend the whole hour hitting on her. ignored my questions complete and spend the whole time staring at her and smiling at her and trying to get her affection

Mr. Mark Epstein (based in Newmarket and not to be confused with the Mark Epstein practicing law in B.C.) was recommended to us through friends of ours. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful throughout our entire matter. Within a VERY short timeframe he was able to resolve all of our legal problems and gave us the very best legal advice based on our situations. We would recommend him every time.

Mark Epstein 1177 W. Hastings Vancouver was employed by the identical Asher twin sisters to be their executor and handle their estates. They were interred into their parent's grave site at Mountain View Cemetery with no grave marker! In 2016 and 2017 I requested Mark Epstein to install a marker to honor their lives. He said he would, BUT when I visited their grave this week, to honour their birthday, there was still no grave marker. Writing letter to Mark Epstein to do the right thing and have a marker installed. I will remove this comment once the grave marker is installed at Mountain View Cemetery.

We retained Mark and his team and although the litigation and issues were very stressful his advice carried the day and we were able to move the matter along very quickly and his fees were very reasonable. In the end we ended in a very good settlement. straightforward, no bull, honest, tough. I had used other lawyers and they did not do the job. we used him for a injury matter and a family matter. I see there are reviews here for an ontario lawyer but we were talking for mark in b.c.

there are many Mark Epstein lawyers, this review if for an Ontario Mark Epstein. You should note I hired a Mark Epstein in B.C. for my personal injury lawsuit and a family case, and ICBC offered, me $13,000.00, and Mark went to court and got me $700,000.00 and reduced his fee for me too. He knew exactly what to do. Don't mistake Ontario Mark Epstein, with Vancouver Mark Epstein. I referred a number of family members and they all came out with great results.

I hired Mark for a legal case , his advice was off . His preparation for court was too. He was unorganized and can't think on his feet . I wouldn't use him ever again . His fees are crazy considering what you don't get ..

Mark is inefficient and doesn't seem to care about his clients. Just another cash grab. He quoted a price and then ended up charging more than he said. Nothing on my case got accompished

No communication, high rates and treated very badly. We weren't asked for any input into our matter and basically told to 'suck it up'. Berated by one lawyer, lied to by another.
