We, my husband John and I, have used the services of Me Duval for a mandate of child custody. If it wasn't for Me Duval, Patrick, John's son, would be living in Thunder Bay the whole year and we would never see him. Me Duval was so quick to answer us and fight back. She was so tenacious, I would even say ferocious, to get everything we wanted. She knows every judge in Montréal and they all have respect for her. Only thing though, she wears very short skirts for the courthouse, I would change that.

Maitre Duval is an excellent lawyer! She is extremely intelligent, knowledgeable, strong and dedicated, as well as honest and compassionate. She did an incredible job in my case and I was thoroughly impressed! Maitre Duval exceeded all of my expectations! She is one of the best and brightest in the city and I highly recommend her!

I hired me Gayrard and I basically never dealt with her since she passed me down to her junior lawyer Me Duval. Me Duval is a nice person but not a good lawyer. As well, she could never make a decision without talking to Me Gayrard, even when in court, she constantly had to call her, hence charging me constantly for BOTH lawyer. It was terrible! I lost everything and was charged an enormous amount for lawyers fee. I would NOT recommend this firm at all.

In my case, she was working as the "junior lawyer", which means that i didn't choose her, she was "imposed" by the senior lawyer that i hired, Luce Gayrard. Isabelle Duval means well, but she is not good... She would constantly make stupid mistakes in the documents (court papers and letters) like writing another client's last name instead of mine, she was all confused with the facts and was always making me repeat my stories. On 2 occasions, the senior lawyer sent her to court instead of going herself in order to save me money. It was not a problem, because they were easy requests and it was almost certain that Duval was going to win... But she lost both times. I was with her in court and she was just not good. She doesn't fight hard enogh and she is not confident enough. I DO NOT recommend her. Avoid her
