Elliott was recommended to me as a top divorce lawyer and I'm glad to have had him on my side. I always found him, or one of his junior lawyers, to be easily reachable or quick to respond to my messages. Elliott helped me through a long, stressful & acrimonious divorce process. He followed my request to try to move things along quickly (despite lack of cooperation from the "opposition") and he told me if he thought my complaints were irrelevant or not worth specifically addressing overall. Elliott instead advised me to ignore certain issues and encouraged me to work towards a resolution outside of court in order to avoid those extreme expenses, as well as the emotional anguish of going through a trial. In the end, my legal fees were quite costly, but I know I would've never reached the agreement that I did without Elliott's expertise and assistance. He was instrumental in ensuring that after many years of marriage, I received a settlement that was fair to me.

Elliott Goszer is a pragmatic individual that cares a great deal about his client. His approach is comprehensive and he will absolutely define the process and path for what it is. He asked asked me at the beginning of our case if there was anything in our case that was absolute! He told me not to argue for ideals and that I needed to be prepared to mitigate things that had little to no value. His approach was to settle rather than to escalate any items that were emotional in nature. I was dealing with an extremely combative Petitioner. My particular case had a Petitioner that never wanted a settlement but that rather wanted to extend the case to cost me as much as possible. Mr. Goszer was always trying to mitigate cost and hardship on me. I truly owe a great deal to him for his care and concern to me and my sons throughout this case. Was it cheap ? No not at all! It was very costly, but not by the actions of Mr Goszer but rather by the actions of the Petitioner within the System.

Mr. Goszer took over my file after another lawyer in the city wasted 8 years of my time and billed me a huge amount with absolutely no progress. Once Mr. Goszer took over the file, he dealt with the issues professionally and efficiently. His communications with me were clear and timely. Every time I asked him to perform a task. It was done quickly and professionally. He provided very good advice. I am very happy with Mr. Goszer’s service and results – we signed a separation agreement in a relatively short period of time. I have already recommended to two of my friends – they both say they love his work.

Dont believe the great comments and the 5 star ratings . Obvious it was done by him. Avoid at all costs. Will destroy your family. He has no morals or values what so ever. Not sure how he manages to look himself in the mirror every day . Oh yeah $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Elliott was hired for division of family property, spousal support and divorce for my son after his wife left him with advanced MS & only CPP Disability to live on. Elliott had to deal with a very difficult spouse who would not co-operate and thought she could get away with paying no spousal support or sharing family property. Elliott's communication to her lawyer was excellent. He was strong in his requests for information and always put a time line on when he was to be answered back. In fact the 1st time the 2 lawyers communicated, her lawyer tried to stall the proceedings but Elliott was adamant that her lawyer meet him in person at the courts. He did not accept any more stalling tactics which had been going on before we hired Elliott. Lovely office, always pleasant staff, very professional legal services explaining everything. Things moved quite quickly once we hired Elliott. We couldn't be more pleased with the outcome and heartily recommend Elliot for legal council.

There is no doubt that any of the reviews below that have good things to say about this incompetent abusive lawyer are due to either the file already having been built by another lawyer prior to Goszer and there was little left to do, there was no opposition or funds to work with, or a lawyer working independently under Goszer did all the work and the parties had little money for him to play court games with. No matter what these reviewers have said, in the event that these reviews are by legitimate past clients, there is no doubt in my mind that they could have had a better outcome no matter what the circumstances. He will have raped them financially in any case. Once again, what about the children?

Elliott Goszer assisted me in saving my children from an abusive relationship. I was a man seeking custody because of spousal abuse which was unheard of at the time and Mr. Goszer set a federal precedent in our case with his argument. My children are now in their late twenties and doing well.

There is nothing to rate unless it is -100.People PLEASE run from this incompetant uncaring and abusive UNprofessional.There is absolutely no considerstion when children are involved and dependant on the outcome of his pretense to do what he says.The only reason anything minutely positive happens in your case would be because if support staff who also do not care about humane treatment of victims of the legal system after already suffering through loss of a family.He doesnt keep track of deadlines or orders made by the judge,does not even acknowledge requests or concerns that are paramount in the outcome of the situation.He instigates problems and decension and does not work toward an amicable solution whatsoever.I ditto all negative reviews!After the initial meeting and inflated retainer he will NOT CARE unless its to initiate more hurdles in order to keep a fight in the ring. Issues that you think are resolved are not.Its all about$$$$!Legal aid is better!Dont do this to you or kids!

This guy knows exactly how to get upset clients who are angry over the divorce to use the legal system to try to destroy the other party. Of course he charges them everything he can while doing so. This is the perfect lawyer for you if you would prefer to hand over all your joint marital assets to him instead of splitting them with your spouse. Just be aware as soon as the money is gone, so is he.

Excellent lawyer! He is caring, insightful and takes the time to fully understand the situation at hand, Very knowledgeable and provided me with options while allowing me the time to make the best decision for myself considering the circumstances. Provided me with ample resources to become self educated while working with me to diffuse potentially volatile proceedings. Did not require litigation due to his understanding of multiple situations (especially with custody issues)which concluded with both parties being happy with final result. Hire this lawyer if you want results, care and someone who will see both sides of the story!

Avoid this lawyer at all costs unless you want to spend loads of money and spend a lot of time waiting to get things done. Very much committed to own agenda and seems to like to head towards litigation regardless of the client's wishes. Loads of billing for uneccesary communications, not tenacious, does not follow up on issues (issues agree to at Case Conferences), and talks the talk but without results. He can be rude and egotistical and without compassion. This lawyer needs a reality check - he is NOT God. May be good at what he does but unless you have loads of time and money for fees avoid him.
