I was told over the phone by Mr. Kay himself he charges $480/hr. He asked me what my situation is and after a 2 min blurb he stated that this case was not for him. That he deals with Large asset dissputs. My dispute was over apporox. $200,000 in cash assets aswell as RRSP, Pensions. House, boat cars, motorcycle, vaction property ect.. I was rather insulted that my disput was to small for him to waste is time on. He actually said to me it wasn't worth his time.. I choose to call him because he was rated in the top lawyers, now I wouldn't even take a second look at anyone else in that firm. He did refer me to another lawyer who happened to be rated on here already with an extremly poor rating...so I guess I'm not going there either. The search continues.
