Paid for a consultation. Extremely brief. Turns advice given was completely wrong. Easy to lose faith in legal system with lawyers like this.

Paule Seeger just closed her practice in December 2019. Had I have known, I would have filed a negligence claim whilst she still carried insurance. Paule Seeger ripped off my family and treated her own to vacations at Legoland, USA; Las Vegas, for Black Friday shopping spree. She phoned me before Christmas and told me that her kids wouldn't have a Christmas because I had an outstanding bill - she even said that she'd lose her mortgage. My bill was $1500.00. Sad. It is a benefit to the community of Kelowna that Ms. Seeger folded. She was dangerous.

I was represented by Paule Seeger for my Divorce and child custody battle I call it I felt my needs were looked after and I was treated fair my opinions were valued and any doubts I had were always reassured. My nerves were always calmed by her confidence and the process was always explained no matter how bad it was. Paule fought hard for me she went above and beyond and did everything she could do to ensure a great outcome. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome! money well spent!!

I retained this lawyer for a family law matter. At first I thought we were on the same page. I grew concerned when it seemed like every time something simple was done on my file I was invoiced for it. My $5000 retainer was gone in no time. Yet it didn't feel like we were making any progress. When I would call the office, she was never available to take my calls. I felt like her staff was covering or lying. It was as if she just refused to talk to me. She would reply to emails with abrupt, short answers with demands for retainer top-ups. My JCC was set earlier this year. She charged me for it; FOUR DAYS before it occurred and paid herself from funds in trust.
When she finally agreed to see me, and I was sitting, waiting for her to come into the meeting, I had to listen to her flip out at someone on the phone.
All around, a bad experience. I have a way more professional lawyer now. Don't waste the $225. I have dealt with used care salesmen that I would trust more.

I would not recommend Paule, her abrupt rude attitude doesn't seem well suited for family law. Don't expect understand, support or even follow up emails. But do expect to pay much more then quoted and the only emails you will receive are requests for retainer top-ups from her assistant. Trying to get the best situation for my kids I spent over $10k with nothing to show for it but disillusionment with the legal system. The feeling of being squeezed for money is no better summed up then with Paule's own words: "It's clients like you who keep my kids in private school".

Excellent lawyer. She cares about her clients and their children, unlike most lawyers. Sadly I've been mixed up in the family law system for 5 years due to a narcissitic ex who lies and cheats the system. Paule is an excellent choice. Her team is truly a team and they will work for YOU. Any negative comments have got to be from the other side.... Paule is EXCELLENT!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I have to say that this was not my lawyer, but my ex's lawyer. However, I feel responsible in sharing my experience. I've been up against a few good lawyers over time unfortunately, but she made a fool out of my ex. Her knowledge isn't strong despite her bluster being over the top. If you're looking for a pit-bull, there are much better ones out there that won't leave you in such a curiously negative position. I'm glad my ex picked her.

Paule helped me through a horrible divorce. Took the time to explain things fully and offered sound legal advice at every point of the process. She is worth every dollar! I thank her, my children thank her and would recommend her without hesitation!

Wasn't the lawyer for me. I had met with Paule and hoped to set up a plan to deal with my family law issue. Her reception was the only helpful party during my six months here. I ended services after finding it odd to not get calls back or email replies for weeks at a time. Paying good money for poor service, not sure if she is only concerned with bigger files or what the real issue there is, as she didn't even concern herself with a reply email to my termination of service. I moved to a lawyer off this site that was rated and reviewed well and already have made better progress and found someone who is helping me with my obstacles.

I would avoid this lawyer at all costs. She is rude, overcharges, and does not concern herself with the requests of the client. I had a very bad experience working with her, and since then have met others who have also struggled with her. Watch that contract you sign too. She is not honorable. Avoid.

I had a very tough file that had many curveballs and hurdles thrown at us. Paule never wavered from the goal and ultimately we were successful. I could not recommend her enough. Dave L.

Does not listen to her client. Over charges. Did not listen and create a plan that worked. Quite abrasive towards myself, and her legal assistant. Very rude and disconnected.

I HIGHLY recommend Paule Seeger as a family lawyer. She can be a bit of a pitbull, but that is just what I needed!! She recently helped me through a very difficult divorce & custody arrangement. She also helped me redo my will post divorce. Excellent & direct no "bs" lawyer. She took the time to clearly outline my options and helped me through one of the most difficult times of my life. If I could give her a higher rating, I WOULD!

Paule Seeger has in-depth knowledge of the law. Paule Seeger led me on for several months with her extensive knowledge and gave the appearance that she was working for me. She gained my confidence. It was several months and ten thousands of dollars later that I learned that Paule Seeger is a Confidence Lawyer. They get you to trust them and they milk you over an extended period of time. I lost my case because of her tactics. I lost my money and was devastated. Paule Seeger lives High on the Hog, she likes expensive things. She took me for a ride. She's one smooth individual. Watch out!

I highly recommend Paule Seeger as a Family Law Lawyer. She is clear and tenacious. She address issues in a timely manner and demonstrates a solid understanding of Family Law. This lawyer upholds a level of passion for her work and compassion for her clients as she supports them through difficult mediations. Her correspondences between other lawyers and legal counsel are clear, concise and to the point. She does not waste one's time or money. She does not engage in effective banter that can ultimately become costly to her clients. Very satisfied with this lawyer.

I think that this Lawyer can be a good choice in our legal affairs, very aggressive and passionate in her communication with legal staff as well as in care for her clients. I would consult her for her opinion but to be clear in any legal conversation, obtain written verification so you have a clear understanding in what you are getting in meeting if it is a "free timed" session. One has to respect the time offered and value received. She provides value first which is key to establishing long term relationships which Paule will do, if given the chance... This is my personal experience with this Lawyer. Give her a try and you will see her commitment to a successful outcome for a Win-Win. Erik

A fantastic lawyer!! She looks out for you, does not waste your money and does the RIGHT thing. Other complaints on this website are erroneous. She gets to the point so as to not waste your money. Her letters to opposing lawyers are to the point and well versed. She doesn't fall into the games and expense other lawyers do. She represents you with facts. I would recommend Paule to everyone and anyone that needs an honest good person to represent you. She genuinely looks out for you and will do the right thing. She has morals, which very few lawyers do. She represents you in court with every detail needed and presented perfectly. Counselors have asked for her number, because they can't believe a lawyer thinks this way. She looks out for YOU, not her paycheck. THANK-YOU! My family thanks you.

I was in total shock by the outrageously inappropriate behaviour of this lawyer. I went to her for help - which she ensured me should could give me- no problems. After taking every last penny out of me every month and even asking for more - plus months and months of waiting with no progress. Mrs. Seegar says mistakes were made and i will not get outcome she promise and that i owe her a couple thousand dollars and she was quitting lawyer on file. her vulgar comments and lack of work ethic and total disregard for clients well-being has left broke and back at square one. BEWARE this deceiptive lawyer - if you are wise you will look for a good lawyer elsewhere - save you money time and headaches!

Paule has been an amazing Lawyer. Her knowledge of what is relevant to your case is extremely important. She tells you exactly what she needs from you, so as to not waste your time or your money. Mediation with Paule has been quite amazing increasing my child support substantially just by a quick phone conversation to my ex-husbands lawyer! She is politely tenacious and very well versed. Her letters to the courts, and addressing my ex's lawyers are so well versed and to the point. She remembers all of the small details that are important in winning a case. If winning your case is valuable to you, the Paule is a lawyer you most certainly cannot put price on. Paule is extremely knowledgeable in Family Law and very helpful in sifting through all your questions. You definitely want her on your side!

I would not recommend this lawyer. It seemed that I was paying a lot of money for very little result. My bill seemed to be whatever money I had given as a retainer every month. Nice office though.

I had asked Paule Seeger if I could meet with her for a free consultation. She had agreed but had said if she offered legal advice during the consultation she would charge me. I said I only wanted to know if she thought she could accomplish what I wanted her to do and to give me an estimate of how much it would cost me. We met in October. On December 23 I received a $500 bill for the "free" consultation. I called to ask if there had been some mistake and she said that she offered legal advice during our meeting and that I had taken notes so therefore she charged me the $500. We went back & forth with emails but she did not admit she was wrongfully charging me. Be advised about this sheister lawyer! I met with another lawyer who suggested I contact the government agency directly. I did, solved the problem myself and that lawyer stuck by his free consultation.
