Michael A. Smith ran up legal fees to the tune of several thousand dollars in excess of his original estimate without even getting me to first base in the process. I fired him and hired another attorney, who 1) completed my divorce for a fraction of what Michael charged, and 2) told me Michael's fees were excessive and much of the work he charged me for was unnecessary.
