After months of prodding her to file my case, Ms. Casey did not properly file my case with the court, either did not respond at all or did not accurately respond to letters from the other lawyer and is consistently unresponsive to voicemails and emails. When asked to complete specific activities (ie ask for a hearing), Ms. Casey simply ignored the request in favor of contacting the other lawyer and providing details that I specifically asked her not to provide. Additionally, other internet reviewers have noted that Ms. Casey works on your case on her timeline regardless of what she tells you and this is what I found as well.

I went to see Mrs. Casey after a recommendation from a friend who was a previous client of hers. The people were friendly and helped me out. Mrs. Casey even set up a payment plan for me because I couldn't pay all at once. I'm happy I went to her.

I filed for a divorce on Feb 13, 2012, and 8 months later he still has not been served. I never receive updates or anything. I will be so glad when this is over. I have paid my attorney up front, so its not like I have a balance and she is waiting on me. The office do not ever know anything and someone always has to call me back.

This office is a pro at dragging their feet and has a severe lack of communication skills. If you are looking for a divorce in this lifetime do not call this firm!! They do not make or return phone calls. If you want info or updates you have to call. They have been caught in lies on more than one occasion as to when papers were received or submitted and we have documented proof. Every phone call or visit...and I mean EVERY...we left angry and confused and clueless as to what just took place which was usually nothing. After much anger and frustration I asked to speak to Mr. Gebhart (owner of the firm) and was told he no longer works there. A year later and the papers are finally signed but still no end in sight as we are waiting for a court date. I thought lawyers were paid to help you, not make your life more miserable. I will never recommend this firm to anyone.
