worst legal representation I have ever met. To interested in talking on his ear buds to give a**** about his clients and families. Disgrace to the legal system. He is a liar and clearly is in it for the money. Dont waste your time on this sad example of a lawyer. Might as well burn your money

Brendan Miller was the absolute worst lawyer we have ever hired. After he took a large retainer, he did nothing meaningful. We hired him to appeal a lawyer's past client's conflict of interest to the Supreme Court of Canada. He refused to provide us with the legal assessment. He never did look at the case files. A week before the deadline to file the Appeal Document with the Supreme Court of Canada. He said, it was a frivolous, vexatious appeal and he would not represent us. He subverted our chances of success with this action and protected his lawyer friends.
We're filing a complaint with the Law Society with over 130 points of Breach of the Lawyers Code of Professional Conduct. If you ever think you want to hire Brendan Miller, The best thing you could do is take ten times his retainer and donate the money to a food bank. At least you'll get a warm and fuzzy feeling from helping out the unfortunate. Brendan Miller is not a lawyer; he's a liar.

Incredible tenacity and passion for the case. Willing to go to incredible ends in order to to find information and elicit testimony that can help the case. Rarely have I seen a lawyer so engaged with his work, and I sleep better knowing that there are people who are fighting against the violations of constitutional rights with efficacy and unparalleled drive.

Fantastic lawyer. Represented me as a plaintiff in litigation involving constitutional and prodecural matters. Incredibly knowledgeable in both areas. Extremely fair with billing. Would highly recommend to anyone, and will be sticking with him for life if I ever need a lawyer again.

There are no words to describe how terrible Brendan is at his job, first rule of thumb of any business is to learn the name of your client and what their needs are. We didn't get past that... He misrepresented me in court, taking my new counsel years and tens of thousands of dollars to reverse. While it is nice to see his firm stand by him, they also showed that they do not take any responsibility for damages caused by their lawyers. Perhaps if he checked his ego he could be a good lawyer rather than just a wind bag.

I tried to retain him to help my court case. He showed the great interest and offered me to come to his office for a consultation. When I got to his office, the first thing he did was to let his assistant to copy my credit card and driver licence. I was told that he wouldn't see me before I paid $10,000 deposit. He didn't tell me about this before my appointment and I was not prepared. As I learned that many lawyers would provide an half hour free consultation to see if they were capable for a new case. I was very disappointed and left because what came into my mind was he only care about my money not my case. How could I be confident to let him to handle my case?

Lies to clients about information provided by other council. mis-understands simple documents, could not sort out the total on a simple pay document. Is rarely in town to attend to matters and seems to disregard deadlines. Thus has to constantly ask for updated info that has already been provided repeatedly. Acts on his own without keeping his client advised. Spends massive amounts of time to accomplish nothing. I suspect this makes him a profitable member of his firm, but not as a client.

Being a professional from Alberta Children Services, Brendan is a great lawyer. Brendan dealt with a criminal matter separate from my profession.
I was always able to get ahold of to discuss matter. Always provided updates in great timely matter! Via email, phone - anytime of day.
Provide great information and did not ****** about possible outcomes. Does not give false hope, or going to waste time and money to tie matter up in court. Open in honest, and will advise seriousness off offences.
Laid everything out in best interest of client - discuss all options openly with client. Very easy going to discuss matter with.
Overall great lawyer and great staff!

Mr. Miller took on my case enthusiastically from the first phone call, and gave the impression that it would be simple and straight forward. That couldn’t have been further from the truth, and when dealing with the crown prosecutor, I actually incurred more damage due to his ignorance and blind arrogance. His response time to emails was pathetic, and phone calls/text messages were either last minute or after court time had started without consultation with me regarding what was to happen. As far as criminal defense, he is out of his league; alternatively may be the right guy for family law if you require someone to deal with a nasty spousal situation.
