A Total Waste of 25K and I did most of the paperwork and spent hundreds of hours to help her prep for the case. Very condescending, rude and seemed to be actually working against me. Should have switched lawyers after the first 5K retainer got burned up without much being done to that point. An Expensive Lesson Learned. Save yourself the time and money and do your due diligence and always Trust Your Gut !!

She loves to charge for extra fees. I end up paying for something I didn't need to and end up with over $15000 bill.

Stephanie O'Mahony represented my ex-wife when we were getting divorced. This is fair enough.
What is not fair, is the total unethical way in which she attempted to portray me as someone who was shirking his responsibility and duties. She produced documents which had been dealt with years earlier and were biased in their opinion. Unfortunately for me, my lawyer didn't do anyting to dispute these and wouldn't speak in court.
I was so disgusted by how O'Mahony portrayed me in my case, that I launched a complaint with the B.C. Law Society. However, they protect their own and nothing happened. I wouldn't recommend anyone to hire Stephanie O'Mahony as their lawyer.

Mrs. O'Mahony conducts her business in an unethial manner.This lawyer took a retainer of $2500 to proceed with divorce. Then several weeks later, I rec. a contract in the mail to sign & return, which states if case goes to court, this lawyer expects $3500./DAY!! Never would I have given the retainer, had I been informed of this! Mrs. O'Mahony is a sheister, preying upon ppl. that have never had legal experience before. Don't put your faith in this person, she does NOT have your best interest in mind & has questionable work practices.She also charged way above & beyond, what the initial consult was supposed to be.IN FACT her assistant said the initial consult was free, now that I have retained her services. But then the assistant later flat-out LIED about that statement she made to me. Obviously, it is just not the lawyer that is a liar, in this office. Disgusting!! Horrible that someone can kick you, when you're down & u lose money that u can't afford; in the most horrific time of life

I have had Stephanie as my lawyer for many years now. She is an amazing woman! Extremely professional,very thorough & meticulous with her material. I had a different lawyer originally and switched. I am so thankful to have Stephanie on my side dealing with a very uncooperative ex partner. I will definitely be using Stephanie in any future legal issues I have. Her staff is wonderful also....
