Did the bare minimum to get me divorced in my opinion. There wasn't much of a strategy. Writing letters back and forth between him and the opposing attorney was effective at accruing attorney fees, but nothing was getting accomplish after accumulating almost 10k within 7 months. Plan on accumulating $1,000/month with this guy with little accomplished. Manipulative at times. Not really sure if my prenuptial was followed in its entirety. He will send all your financials to the opposing side before he tells you about it or let's you in on his strategy. Had possession of the defendandts petition response for several weeks before giving to me. He sent discovery to the defendant and also told them we wern't going to court (this is contridictory). He gave up my W4's without much negotiation and tried to convince this was in my best interest (yeash!) because the opposing attorney threatened discovery on me.(not much of a negotiator) I am very angry about that. Do NOT hire Jonathan Carbary as your attorney! ESPECIALLY if you are in a divorce/custody hearing. *He failed to communicate with me.*Refused to return my documents/photos and hung up on me when I called him. *He failed to attend my court date/forfeited my weekend/holiday with my child. *He was speaking with my husband's PARENTS (this is a divorce/custody case)when they aren't a part of our case at all. He then sent me a bill for the phone conversations he had with my husband's parents, which is improper billing on top of being proof that he discussed MY case with a third/irrelevant party.*He had 5 months to file for my child support to be automatically withdrawn from my husband's paycheck and has failed to do so. *He failed to file for temporary support for all of our joint bills/lease.*He has not forwarded court documentation to me at all/in a timely fashion.*He has been rude, lied to me about choices I could make regarding custody, and is manipulative/verbally abusive.
