We used Mr. Todd after consulting with him. He seemed knowledgeable regarding our particular family law situation. That knowledge didn't seem to transfer to any good plan of action. It was a "take the money and run" style -- with minimal communication and more double-talk than actual help. Missed filing date too. Cannot recommend.

I hired Brian J Todd in Oct 2011 to for Legal Separation. It was of urgency that my motions for temporary orders be dealt with immediately. Not only did Brian make numerous errors but my motions were delayed not 1x, not 2x, but 3x. With no progress I had to let Brian go in Dec 2011 and retained another lawyer. Brian not only charged my full retainer but wants more in addition. There was a lack of communication, lack of filing court documents properly and lack of securing motions in a reasonable fashion. I am highly disappointed in Brian and family law does not seem to be his area of expertise.
