Ms. Crome was hired to handle a child support case. The case was virtually uncontested. Ms. Crome was hired because I had to travel out of town for work, and wanted to establish support, arrears and reimbursement for confinement. Ms. Crome was well aware of what I was seeking at the time of contracting, before establishing the retainer amount and before going to court. The desired outcome required a motion to be drafted, served and filed. Ms. Crome failed to prepare the motion, and therefore, additional court/attorney fees would accrue to have the case completed as desired. Of course Ms. Crome offered to complete the job for an additional fee. I firmly believe Ms. Crome purposely mishandled my case and did not file the necessary documents in hopes of finagling additional fees. I will pay an attorney to file my motion, but it will not be Ms. Crome. Ms. Crome's practices are dishonest and unethical.

Ms. Crome has been handling a very messy divorce and even uglier custody WAR that has been going on since mid 2006...She has made sure that my children have remained safe and I was granted custody from day one...she has proven that the law isn't always on the Mother's side and that a good Father has the right to custody...I am forever grateful to her and her assistant Natasha

My experience with Chaka T. Crome, and everyone at the Crome Law Firm, far exceeded my initial expectations. Before the process began, I was nervous and worried that my voice was not going to be heard, which could result in the worst possible outcome for my case.
Throughout the process, everyone at Crome was very friendly and professional, but also very direct with how they expected the entire case to progress. Their patience at managing my expectations was particularly appreciated.
In the end, the outcome of our case exceeded even my greatest expectations. They went above and beyond, and their willingness to “shoot for the moon” made all the difference in the world for my family and I. I would not ever pay for her services. My friend was her client, and I was embarassed for my friend that she was representing him. She didn't take the time to get to know her client,and she was constantly confusing his situatin with something else and making the judge upset. She talks with confidence, but she has no idea what she's talking about. And at the end of the hearing when the judge didn't side with her, she ran out of the court room screaming "this was a waste of money!!" very child like and not professional at all.

The lack of compassion for a single mother looking to set parameters for custody was suprising. Every little opportunity Chaka had she charged full hourly rates for simple emails and texts. Face to Face conceltation is understandable but correspondence when on retainer and charging $300 to read a email is rediculous. Then to hold the case over my head and threaten to drop it if I didn't pay is highly unprofessional, I felt like she milked the case for every dollar she could squeeze out of me. Would of rather used a legal service than her...

Ms. Crome is an excellent attorney and her attention to detail and frequent contact was very reassuring. She took the time to explain the legal terms and concepts to my 18 year old son and myself and we never felt rushed. She was quick with follow-up and always easy to get ahold of. By far the BEST LAWYER in this STATE!!!First off lets start with your consultation, I visited 4 other lawyers before I went and found Mrs. Chaka Crome. No impersonal paper work to fill out, she speaks to you and gathers info. Also she tells you how it is, no lawyer should promise you what they have no control over. She tells you your options and helps you decide what you want to do. I have been with her at court, always professional, patient. Office workers are always friendly and helpful. Natasha her assistant is excellent with keeping you informed, and helps you when Mrs. Crome is busy etc. Obviously I highly recomend them to everyone I know who may need them. I was trying to amend my Divorce Decree and Chaka Crome was recommended by a friend. I was informed that she was a go getter and very tenacious. After meet her for my initial consult I was very impressed by her knowledge and willingness to work for me and methodically pursue an outcome that was fair. She tipped the scales of justice back to where they should be. I will continue to use Chaka to pursue other items which need to be addressed and corrected.
