In early Nov, I was expressing my frustration at a church meeting with my inability to find a lawyer that was willing to help me with my case involving another lawyer that is refusing to return to me $70,225 he was to hold in his IOLTA account until the final settlement of a divorce case. My wife and I reconciled, but now this other lawyer will not return my money. Mr. Matkin approached me after the meeting and offered his help at no charge. I am however paying him. It's the right thing to do. I was just glad that I was able to find a lawyer willing to do the right thing. He is aggressively going after this other unethical lawyer by the name of Kevin Prendergast. Perusing not only civil but criminal charges. It's so good to actually find an ethical lawyer.
