WARNING: DON'T HIRE THIS MAN!! I hired Scott J. Levine to represent me in a divorce/custody case. Upon consulting with him and giving him the facts of the case he assured me that it would be an easy win with my soon-to-be ex living in an overcrowded house, had refused to allow the children to attend school and generally providing ...a poor environment. I expressed that I would like to compromise as much as practical to come to a peaceful settlement with my former spouse to which Mr. Levine was adamantly against. Throughout the case he continued to add unnecessary fuel to the fire making any reasonable negotiations impossible (which of course prolonged the case and made him more money). At one point he advised me to disobey the judge’s order (which I did foolishly) and it cost me 10,000 dollars I had to pay to her lawyer as a penalty imposed by the judge. He asked how much I had left in my account in reference to assets involving the divorce. I received a bill for that amount soon after

Was a very poor Lawyer. I would call him about things that were going on with my child in my ex's household. He would have no advice as to what to do or were to go. Now my son is in a poor household and I need to save him. Thanks to a few people and friends I have they have told me to start a paper trail. Scott was so poor in court that he would stumble over his own words. I often wondered how many time he had been in a real court room. DO NOT USE THIS LAWYER. RUN RUN RUN!
