Terrible lawyer. Increased costs to outrageous amounts and the judge had to correct her not to include certain court materials. Seemed more interested in fees than resolution. I wish I had gone to a more solutions-oriented attorney.

Karen signed a final parenting agreement on my behalf before allowing me to view it. The now permanent order by consent has resulted in years of legal fees and police involvement because it fails to address any of my ex's behaviours. At the time I told her I would not pay the rest of her fees given she hadn't done her job. Ironically she served me with an application to the supreme court to enforce payment immediately. Extremely self-important, careless, belligerent lawyer.

A horrible lawyer to deal with. Extremely unprofessional and rude. Karen is more interested in racking up bills. She is more interested in stirring the pot with your ex rather than coming to a reasonable solution and she will cost you more in the long run. The other lawyer actually said law should not be practiced the way she does.

A year and a half ago Karen Mcneilly represented me in a divorce case which cost me tens of thousands of dollars. When we appeared in front of the judge, she was scolded and I received less than a favorable outcome. When I had the opportunity to mediate issues with my ex, she acted as an obstacle instead of promoting any kind of agreement. Looking back I now see how she systematically drove up costs to me and produced little results if any. This at a time when I was angry and would have benefitted from sound judgement. I would never recommend this woman to any other divorcee.

In my opinion, probably one of the worst lawyers I have ever come across. I found her to be disorganized, ignored emails and phone calls, work quality appeared substandard and appeared to be prepared at the last moment and missed important deadlines. I found her rude and unimpressive in the courtroom. I could never in good conscience recommend this attorney. Very poor value for the money in my estimation.

I used her about 5 years ago when she sued to work out of a New Westminster location. The money was NOT well spent !!

I experienced the same lack of attention to my case. Proceeding were extended beyond reason and I was billed massively despite little service and no resolution. A year later we are now back in court for the issues that were not resolved when we worked with Karen.

In my opinion: Unresponsive, incompetent, unprofessional. Appears to be interested in maximizing billing. Has made serious errors or delays interpreting documents and her reponses resulting in greatly extending proceedings and costs. She did not achieve any resolution.
