Could never get hold of him. Very unprofessional, Kept documents that did not belong to him and refuses to return them. Lawyers like him give all lawyers a bad name. DO NOT WASTE your time and hard earned money on this useless excuse for an attorney

I hired Mr Ferguson to complete 2 real estate sales. On both, he arranged a hold back because of a delay in the tax assessments, however once the township had finalized the taxes, he refused to complete the transaction which required the statement of adjustments to be negotiated with the purchasers laywers, and also refused to return the $8k of mine that he held back. I finally got it back almost 2 years later by contacting the purchasing lawyers myself and getting them to sign a waiver.

Poor communication- even just for real estate. They have booked me for an appointment to sign papers after not knowing my closing costs the DAY BEFORE MY CLOSING DATE. every question i have asked they responded saying "im not sure"

I had a small claims court case against a client of Mr. Ferguson. The case moved slowly and took a while to settle. Mr. Ferguson worked to mediate a fair solution for all parties.

Great lawyer to deal with. Have used him and his firm for two relestate transactions and a land dispute. Always very polite and timely and doesn’t charge you for things that he doesn’t need to. Also very approachable, doesn’t use high pressure tactics and genuinely cares about helping his clients. Highly recommend Alex and his team.

We used Alex for a small legal issue, All was requested was a letter, we ended up writing the letter ourselves and Alex put his legal address on it, Met us in the office in shorts and wet hair poorly dressed not very professional. DO NOT USE this Law firm

Do not use this lawyer! Bad service, bad communication, in over his head - he should just deal with simple law issues - could care less about your case if it drags on - note: if the office looks like crap (ie ceiling tiles stained and or missing) then the service will be crap.Would never recommend him to anyone!

Alex helped me with both a separation agreement and two real estate transactions. I had a lot of questions on both topics and he was always available via phone or email. The real estate piece got extremely complicated, but Alex was a calming influence throughout the process, provided expert advice, and completed his part of the transaction in a very short timeframe. He is a laid back guy, but this is a great characteristic to have in high-stress situations. At the end of the day, the advice he gave me on all fronts was spot-on. I'd definitely recommend him.

Alex has handled two of my matters so far... My criminal matter and the sale and purchase of my house. The criminal was an amazing result. I was charged with an indictable offense. Alex took my case to trial and I was found not guilty. He is a court lawyer and always seems to be in court, but still returns my calls, most of the time. Regardless of all other matters, he got results that most other lawyers in CP just wanted me to plea guilty to. My real estate deal was perfect, i honestly have very few comments to say about it because it went so smoothly and they needed very minimal interaction from me. Absolutely impressed with the entire setup!

Great lawyer. He's always down-to-earth and relaxed but is also a really smart lawyer. Great intuition about how the system works. He's also a really nice man. He does free notarization of documents -- just ask! You can't go wrong here. Now does work for 3 generations in my family -- from real estate to traffic violations to estate planning.
