Be careful, while knowledgeable. Mr Osterhout will drain your pockets of money with unnecessary legal filings and non willingness to negotiate. Very hard to contact with no website or email. If you like to give money away Mr Osterhout is more than willing to take it.

Richard Osterhout was really good at telling me what I wanted to hear. He claimed that he understood my financial problems and would work with me to keep his fees down. In reality he charged for things I never asked him to do and then sued me when I refused to pay for them. He refused to attempt to negotiate my case and refused to attempt to make any deals. He was the worst choice in a divorce lawyer that I could ever make. On top of that, he had no website, no email or anything remotely up-to-date for easy communication. I would never recommend Richard Osterhout as an attorney.
