Our case stirred up a lot of interest in the area's editorial page, for several weeks. One of the writers was a former juror, and his opinion was that he hoped we didn't pay for such lousy services as he considered this lawyer to be totally incompetent and a jerk. We located several top notch experts and he basically hardly used their testimony. He failed to deliver the appeal court documents that should have stopped the trial going forward. He failed to show up for a pre-trial and spent the whole day prior to the trial rearranging the furniture in his office (which we found out about from his faithful assistant who tried to claim that we shouldn't worry because "he was good on his feet"). The list goes on and on.
