Sheena was great to work with. I worked with her in a collaborative separation. She was very efficient and was mindful of saving time and money. She gave very helpful advise. She helped me make decisions by discussing them with me like a human. She was always quick to respond. I think one of her strengths was how thoughtful and diplomatic her correspondences were. They really helped me to discuss harder topics in a constructive and thoughtful light. For such a hard thing in my life, Sheena helped make it a more positive experience. 10/10, would separate again. ha ha.

A LAO lawyer, Sheena Naidoo was obtained for my case....I have a pretty CREDIBLE case, she neglected to read important documentation as it was too much for her when I left it for her on her desk...since then and since I had fired her for lack of representation and many arguments, those important documents went missing. I also wanted to state FACT that Ms. Naidoo was more interested in the opposing party's needs than her own client! She also stated she would NOT argue this case to the Judge as that is not in her character.

If you find yourself in the unenviable position of needing a family lawyer, I highly recommend Ms. Naidoo. With her genuine sincerity and strong legal expertise she was able to achieve a very reasonable divorce settlement for me, despite needing to deal with an uncooperative, and, at times, hostile respondent. In the end, due to Ms. Naidoo's efficient work and her high degree of integrity, she saved me a significant amount of money - the return of a good portion of my retainer was a very pleasant surprise.

Ms. Naidoo is very very knowledgeable. I read her ratings before hiring her. There was one review that stated that she will not fight for you. When it comes to online reviews or ratings of any kind, I feel that even one positive rating is great as most people don’t go out of their way to recognize a job well done or a good product. So I wasn’t going to let one partially negative review stop me from trying to hire the best rated lawyer on this site. Big mistake on my part. Although she is very knowledgeable, she will not go to bat for you. I gave her my entire savings, which admittedly was not much, but she blew through it in a very short time. She did almost settle my case without a trial. However, she did so by telling me to agree to giving the applicant everything she wanted. Since standing up for my rights and self-representing, I have already gotten a judge to agree that I shouldn’t have to pay even half of what the applicant wanted on one issue. Save your money. I wish I had :(

I would highly recommend Sheena. After a long difficult separation and hiring Sheena to resolve ongoing issues my first lawyer wasn't able to do. She is thorough, knowledgeable and up front. I was so grateful for everything she did for me.

I went to two other lawyers for advice before finding Ms Naidoo. She was the only one who took the time to give me good advice that was tailored to my situation and priorities. She went above and beyond to help with any matters that she could. I definitely recommend Sheena. Especially those who feel overwhelmed and uncertain of what their options are as I did!

I instantly felt comfortable working with Sheena. She acted quickly and decisively during the early stages of my child custody dispute and does a great job keeping the emotion of these matters in check. Although she wasn't able to assist to the end, as it must be dealt with in another jurisdiction, I believe her guidance has put me in a good position to get the access and custody I seek. Even as we parted ways, Sheena took the time to offer advice that will no doubt help me with my next steps. Highly recommended.

Sheena is an absolutely amazing Lawyer. I came to her last year with a messy and difficult case regarding Custody, access and child support. She was honest and knowledgable from the beginning and always gave me the best advice. In less than a year I now have a closed case and everything couldn't be better for both the Respondant and myself who were not even on speaking terms when this all began. Sheena truly has the children's best interest at heart and is always going above and beyond to ensure her clients and even the other parties understand what is going on and why. I would highly recommend Sheena. She is knowledgeable, professional and forthright. She will guide and coach you through the process while following your needs and guidelines. I noticed another comment stated she wasn't aggressive enough, I disagree, Sheena works the system in a very direct, and professional manner with a very assertive stance. Financially, Sheena always kept me informed of work being done and what upcoming expenses might be. Overall I am quite impressed by Sheena Naidoo and wouldn't hesitate to use her services again and/or recommend her to friends and family.

Make sure that you understand the process and what is required and what is not, otherwise you can end up paying for motion that was not required. Sheena's hourly rate is in a lower bracket for KW area, but paying for something that was not necessary will bloat the bill quickly.

I was extremely pleased with the immediate response to any questions I had. I would phone and if I left a message the call would be returned within a few minutes. I would absolutely refer sheena to anyone who requires a lawyer for family court. I retained her last June (2015) and could not have asked for a better, more knowledgable, hard working lawyer. I have zero negative words to say about her, or her staff. They helped me achieve full custody of my son (being a father, we all had our work cut out for us). I retained Sheena based on reviews from this site, and I was not disappointed. Sheena is a sharp young lady who is very professional and competent in family law. She knows how to cover people's butts and what she lacks in wisdom or experience she makes up for in clear communication, smart problem-solving and an impressive work-ethic. She doesn't josh anyone around or try to draw things out. Fees are clear and understandable, you get your money's worth. She almost always has her stuff together, is eager to get down to business, and treats each case with very professional yet personal business-oriented style. One thing I will say about Sheena is that she is quick, or fast (and that's part of why you get your money's worth). I say that because if you are slow-minded, or if you don't have your stuff together, or if you can't keep up, she will somewhat leave you behind. Anyone who isn't satisfied with her performance probably falls into that category. She's an excellent lawyer.

If you need a lawyer who will advocate and fight for you don't worry, she will tell you up front she won't be argumentative in court. Also she will insist communicating with the opposite party and make you feel railroaded and not including getting money from you to pay the opposite party. BUT I will give a great review of her written skills of a Conference Brief and written order requests but that is only AFTER you scream at her in her office. And not to mention she will neglect to tell you about FEE WAIVER FORMS knowing your situation and after many conversations and providing proof of income. If you need a lawyer who is knowledgeable against Narcissists...look elsewhere.

With all we faced the protection of medical teams, feeling like an impossible situation. I have to post the utmost respect for my lawyer.
