After giving a retainer fee of 3,500.00 this man would still charge a person 250.00 just to speak to them for an hour. His paralegal they would charge 150.00 to speak to them for an hour. During meeting in the office he would courteously say, "Do you mind if the paralegal comes and sits in for training purposes." I would say that is fine. Then I would turn out paying her for sitting in on the meeting. If I had him arrive at the court house he would charge a fee over 700.00 just to show up. Then every email there was a viewing charge, every copied made I was charged, every time they worked on the case I was charged. They ran right through the retainer money like it was water. I borrowed money just to retain him. Then a month later he wanted 1300.00 more. Then two months later he wanted 1200.00 more. I could not believe his outrageous charges that were made. So if you want good advice and you have all the money in the world. You can afford this lawyer,the common working man can't.
