Jeffrey Meiman is an excellent lawyer. Sometimes he's busy and runs late to meet with clients, but who isn't busy nowadays. If a client is impatient and becomes verbally abusive he has every right to decline his services. He represented me when a mother of a child called the police on me after she witnessed me handling a child ruffly at the daycare. The child attacked another child and I had to intervene quickly so that the attack didn't end in physical injury. The police officer was very understanding and let me go with a warning.

I could certainly recommend Mr. Neiman to others. I retained Mr. Neiman to act for me in both criminal and family cases, after my wife lied to the Police about me and had me charged with domestic assault. Not long after I was released on bail (thanks to Mr. Neiman), my wife served me with Family Court papers. In both cases, Mr. Neiman did/is doing a great job for me and guided me through an unfamiliar and scary process with patience, professionalism and objectivity. I was also impressed by Mr. Neiman's willingness to return my calls within 1-2 business days and communicate with me outside of business hours. Also, for someone who has been a lawyer for more than 30 years, based on my research, Mr. Neiman's rates are extremely reasonable. Thanks to a strong cross-examination of my wife by Mr. Neiman, I was acquitted in my criminal case. The family case is still going. Overall, Mr. Neiman is/has been doing a great job for me and I am extremely satisfied with his services.

My wife was stole something from The Bay. She has done this before. Mr.Neiman got her charges withdrawn in spite of she do this before. Mr. Neiman did great job for her. Actually he did great for us because if he was lost the case, she could have be deported to our native country (Iran)and maybe whole family (me and our two children)must go too. He only charged us $1,000.00 but because of result I would have give him double. Mr. Neiman is great man!

Good Lawyer. Extremely bright and dedicated. Very good at drafting legal documents and letters. Took time to explain legal issues to me. Always made me feel that he really cared about me and my case. Before I hired him I was compared his fees with those of other lawyers. I don't know how long he's been a lawyer but I believe its more than 25 years. The hourly rate he originally quoted me was $300.00...but when I told him I was in financial hardship he reduced it. I did not get the sense that he cared more about money than his clients. I know that there were times when I would call him several times a day. He certainly did not bill me for every phone call or other service that he provided. He certainly isn't perfect. He is not the most punctual lawyer and sometimes he would forget to comb his hair or fix his tie or tidy up his desk. But these are minor quibbles in view of my overall experience with him as a good lawyer and a good person.

I retained Mr. Neiman to act for me in a family law case. My experience with him was very good. He identified the legal issues, told me what to expect and made sure that I was prepared for Court. Also,he would make himself available to talk to me after business hours if I was upset about something and needed to talk. My husband's lawyer was a very aggressive lawyer from a downtown Toronto firm. Mr. Neiman stood up to him and, in the end,resolved the case before we had to go to trial. I found him to be an extremely bright man. I cannot comment on other people's experiences with him. Only my own. All I can say is that I was very happy with his services as a lawyer and would recommend him to my family and friends if they ever ever were in the unfortunate situation of needing a family lawyer.

I retained Mr. Neiman to represent me in Family Court on the recommendation of a friend. The case dragged for more than one year. Eventually the case was resolved by a consent order. I can say that, throughout the proceedings, Mr. Neiman was patient and professional with both the other side (my ex-wife's lawyer) and me. I have one concern about him. Otherwise I would have given him a perfect score: he tends to arrive late for appointments and court. But otherwise, he is an extremely knowledgeable and competent lawyer. Oh, and he has a wicked sense of humour. I have no intention of putting myself in a situation where I would need a family lawyer again. But if I did, I would happily hire Mr. Neiman again.

I filed a complaint with the upper Canada Law society about Jeffrey Neiman because he took money from me and did not provide the promised services.The Law Society reprimanded him as well.Check it out with Law Society and do not retain his services.

Amazing lawyer! Got my teenage son off of a robbery charge with a peace bond. Exceptional knowledge of languages. I am Iranian and he is Canadian born, certainly not Iranian, and he speaks my language. I have also heard him speak French and Russian. Above all, he cares about his clients and their families. He dealt with all of us with patience and understanding.

Mr. Neiman is bit unusual. He has a strange sense of humor and can be less formal than the average lawyer.But don't let those things fool you. He has an amazingly creative legal mind. And he will fight like a tiger for you in Court. I was charged with a sexual assault, a crime thatI did not commit. Mr. Neiman did everything he could to defend me at the trial and he destroyed the victim in cross-examination. He was truly amazing. He saved my life and my future. So, as far as my experience with him was concerned, he was everything that I needed in a lawyer. But all people are different. When you hire a lawyer, especially for a criminal case, you hope that he will be capable of saving your life and reputation. So you need to be absolutely sure that you have found the right person for the job. For me, he was great! I would not hesitate to hire him again or recommend him to others. If my children were ever in trouble, he would be the first lawyer that I would want to hire.
