I got welfare bottom barrel he did nothing took my money and we suffered because of it , PMPOUS VARROGANT BASTRAD !! THEIF

He took my money and did nothing. I went through TWO rounds of retainer and got nowhere. He's unprofessional, unorganized, unethical and useless. He should loose his licence and not be allowed to practice anymore.

Would not recommend this lawyer. Mr. Warrington has unprofessional approach to the business, he ignores to respond to emails dragging your case, wasting your time and money. Do yourself a favour and take your business to someone who will be responsive, efficient and professional.

My husband and I hired Brian as our lawyer to fight against grandparents who wanted unsupervised visits with our children. Brian was very knowledgeable about the law regarding this issue and answered all of my (many) questions without hesitation. He prepared us for court which started with morning chambers and then went on to trail. He submitted all of our paperwork and was very efficient with his time. He was so professional and very confident in court and we were left feeling that we he made a great decision in choosing him as our lawyer even though we were hesitant to hire a lawyer at all. The judge agreed with our lawyer and we won our case. Many points made by Brian in court were later in the written decision from the judge. This was a very sensitive topic for me and I am very thankful to have had him as our lawyer, to represent us. He is very friendly and seemed to genuinely care about our family. We are forever grateful for Brian and would recommend him without hesitation.

Brian is the best. Prior to hiring him I spent 50 000 $ on another lawyer in Alberta that NEVER even went to court, it was awful . We hired brian on a very complex case against the grandparents that were given rights in Quebec and we won ! He wrote amazing affidavits, and presented the case extremely well. It been 2 years since we won and I have since moved back out east and he still give me advise when I need reassurance on some details of the case . I have dealt with so many lawyers between Ontario Quebec and Alberta and I'm so glad we finally found a lawyer that doesn't rip you off and is all about the action. After going through several lawyers who were bleeding me dry financially, and dragging my case along without making any headway for at least two years, I hired Brian for my case in family court. Brian gave me excellent advice backed up by his solid knowledge of family law, and submitted all of our court documents, with such legal craftsmanship and expertise, he won our case!!
It was a very complicated family matter and I am very grateful for his ongoing support by telephone and email throughout the entire process, which was always handled in a timely manner, and with great sensitivity.

Absolutely the worst lawyer you could ever imagine. As everyone else has said on here, HE WRITES the 5 star reviews. He came to our first two mediation sessions completely unprepared without a piece of paper in his hand. He cost be so much money and was a complete waist of my time. I ended up having to hire a new lawyer and because because he had done ZERO work on my case, my new lawyer had to start everything from scratch.

He was the most unprofessional lawyer i have ever met....he lost my case, put me into financial ruin and allowed my ex spouse to take almost everything i helped build in the 25 years of marriage. He actually came to my divorce settlement unaware of my equalization and spousal support calculations and afterwards said to me "I guess the pie wasnt as big as you thought it was"!!...if i could offer anyone who reads my review my opinion, i would say to them "think about what you have at stake before hiring this lawyer to represent your interests..

AVOID, RUN and DO NOT USE! I wish I could have given all zeros. I agree with others on his rating - he writes them all himself, that's where he's spending all his time. This "lawyer" does not remember anything you send him or tell him. Doesn't return calls or emails for weeks at a time because he is "too busy and would have, had he had the time". You have to "refresh" his memory every time you talk to him because, in his words, "I don't recall, refresh my memory." Waste of your time, emotional energy and money. Fired him for not returning calls or emails for weeks at a time in a very time-sensitive issue. Further behind than when I retained him last summer. He won't be on your case and doesn't care. If you want more frustration and stress with your case and want to throw your money out the window, hire him. Nasty, arrogant and totally incompetent. Shy's away from the other lawyers and doesn't reply to them.

Brian has has represented us on more than one occasion, and I cannot say enough good things about him. We had some sticky situations in regards to custody and guardianship, and he has made the process smooth and as stress free as it can be. He understood our concerns and urgency, and was able to put all of our worries at rest. Each time he has gone to bat for us, we achieved exactly what we were hoping for, and in a very timely fashion. He is very quick to respond to us, and when it came to billing, we were extremely surprised to see that not every phone call, email etc was billed for. My divorce was a horrible experience, but Brian made it go as smoothly as it could. It ended without even going to trial, which I was not expecting at all. He answered all my questions and had tons of great advice on how to approach the separation agreement. I was so worried that it would be a neverending experience because of some complicated things to settle, but he had lots of knowledge to help get through all of that. It was such a relief to get on with my life, and I really have Brian to thank for that. Highly recommended!!

Mr. Warrington got my kids back for me and I can't thank him enough. My deranged wife left for Ontario with our two kids last summer then decided she was staying.... I was devastated!!
Mr. Warrington got in front of a Judge within days,
and granted me interim sole custody which ordered my wife to return the kids. She still told me to F*** off. But Mr. Warrington had the order registered right away in Ontario. It took longer than I wanted, 3 weeks, which was a huge time to be away from my kids, but one weekend we set out, with a registered court Order and with police assistance.!! tThe kids were back and ready for school. Mr. Warrington also cleared the way by calling the local Ontario police detachment, the lawyer for Air Canada not to mention an Ontario Judge. He also said 3 weeks is lightening speed in litigation.
I owe Mr. Warrington everything!

RUN AWAY. The 5's astonish me. I gave him $3K. When I fired him he gave me 190.00 back after he said he was going to give me $300.00 back. This after doing nothing. One 1 hour meeting. A photocopied, 5 year old disclosure agreement was given to me to fill out. I will say he charges a lower rate than the norm. There is a good reason for that. Poster child for a profession(small p) that has a well deserved bad reputation.

Mr. Warrington represented me in an appeal from my daughters father from a provincial family court trial. This has been a high conflict custody case for many years. Mr. Warrington got to know my case and history quickly, communicated frequently via phone or email, filed and submitted affidavits in a timely manner and demonstrated confidence/due diligence while preparing and in the courtroom. My experience with Brian Warrington as my lawyer was fantastic. I was in a very difficult situation removing my children from their mother. He cared about my case, myself and my kids. He went above and beyond what I expected, and achieved every result I was seeking. He often called stating "non billable phone call", just to check in, see how myself and my family was doing. I was extremely surprised to see my bill, it was a fraction of what I had anticipated, with many phone calls, emails and time that he had spent being discounted, or not charged at all. He was very knowledgeable, and knew exactly how to handle all of the issues that arose. He was confident, and put me at ease right from the start. He was always very prompt at returning my calls/ emails, regardless of time or day. If I felt that it was important, he did too. He is compassionate, experienced, personable and professional. Mr. Warrington has gone to bat for me more than once, and without the slightest hesitation. He came to court with me on short notice in order to obtain a Court Order to take my daughter to Disneyland. Her father would not sign the travel authorization so Mr. Warrington represented me in Court and obtained an Order permitting me to travel with my daughter without the consent of her father for the rest of her childhood, plus full passport rights and none to the father. He was extremely upset with the lack of cooperation from my daughter's father. Every time I have an issue and need legal advice, Brian goes over and above the call of duty to help my situation. He has mediated many other family issues for me, his generosity is extraordinary and I am very thankful to have Brian as my lawyer. Highly Recommended!

Severe lack of communication. Never returned calls, no showed on meetings and was days/weeks late in responding to emails that required urgency. Caused a huge rift between my wife and I by dragging the process out, missing deadlines - what was an amicable situation that only required his advice and signature turned into a hell storm because of his lack of communication. Heading to court now because of this guy... will be seeking new council.

I hired Brian on short notice before a scheduled court appearance and he made time to consult with me and appear on my behalf. I had never been to court for anything before and as anyone can attest - family matters can be stressful and quite emotional. Brian took the time to explain all the ins and outs of the proceedings as well as the case law regarding my issue. He was always honest and up-front, fair and courteous with me. Knowing my situation, he diligently kept his costs as low as possible and did all he could to keep the case from going to trial. His calm demeanor and sharp wit certainly helped to ease any tensions during mediation. Brian took the time to consult with me after hours, even as late as 11PM. He listened to my concerns, took accurate notes and made the process a lot less intimidating than I had initially expected. I cannot say enough good about Brian. My ex and I do not always get along and unfortunately there are situations when I need Brian's help. I was having trouble getting an agreement to take my little girl home to NL for my wedding, Brian stepped in and a week later I had a signed court order and my little angel is coming with me and my fiancée. None of my family back there have seen her since she was 3 months old so we are all very very thankful for Brian's help. He is very easy to work with and is always looking out for the best interests of the child. He is awesome and I would recommend him to anyone.

After 3 years with this joke of a lawyer I'm still waiting for my divorce and approved court order for child support. His communication skills are horrible. He never returns my phone calls or emails. When questioned about this behavior he becomes a bully, i am walking on egg shells all the time as to not set him off. I am extremely disappointed with his work and professionalism. I would recommend hiring any two bit laywer over him.

Two years ago I was looking for a lawyer for my sister and did not know where to turn. I read these reviews and called Brian. Contacted Mr. Warrington for representation on a matter involving two young children and a mobility issue. He agreed to take on the case with very little advance notice and was a huge help. I hired Mr. Warrington to help me gain guardionship with my daughter as I was in a comman law relationship and my ex after our split made things difficult. Mr. Warrington unlike other lawyers tried to settle our differences outside of the court and it worked and I feel it as kept potentially bad blood from myself and the ex if we went through a full blown court case. I have a solid parent guardianship in place and it is because of Mr. Warrington's hardwork.
