He took my money for child support order and went to court and gave the father visitation an addict absent father ex driller . Did not get us a child support order 10 years together . I got welfare bottom barrel he did nothing took my money and we suffered because of it , PMPOUS VARROGANT BASTRAD !! THEIF

He took my money and did nothing. I went through TWO rounds of retainer and got nowhere. He's unprofessional, unorganized, unethical and useless. He should loose his licence and not be allowed to practice anymore.

My husband and I hired Brian as our lawyer to fight against grandparents who wanted unsupervised visits with our children. Brian was very knowledgeable about the law regarding this issue and answered all of my (many) questions without hesitation. He prepared us for court which started with morning chambers and then went on to trail. He submitted all of our paperwork and was very efficient with his time. He was so professional and very confident in court and we were left feeling that we he made a great decision in choosing him as our lawyer even though we were hesitant to hire a lawyer at all. The judge agreed with our lawyer and we won our case. Many points made by Brian in court were later in the written decision from the judge. This was a very sensitive topic for me and I am very thankful to have had him as our lawyer, to represent us. He is very friendly and seemed to genuinely care about our family. We are forever grateful for Brian and would recommend him without hesitation.

Brian is the best. Prior to hiring him I spent 50 000 $ on another lawyer in Alberta that NEVER even went to court, it was awful . We hired brian on a very complex case against the grandparents that were given rights in Quebec and we won ! He wrote amazing affidavits, and presented the case extremely well. It been 2 years since we won and I have since moved back out east and he still give me advise when I need reassurance on some details of the case . I have dealt with so many lawyers between Ontario Quebec and Alberta and I'm so glad we finally found a lawyer that doesn't rip you off and is all about the action. Thanks Brian, because of your amazing work my sons are safe.

Absolutely the worst lawyer you could ever imagine. As everyone else has said on here, HE WRITES the 5 star reviews. He came to our first two mediation sessions completely unprepared without a piece of paper in his hand. He cost be so much money and was a complete waist of my time. I ended up having to hire a new lawyer and because because he had done ZERO work on my case, my new lawyer had to start everything from scratch.

I wish i could give this lawyer all negative numbers (-0). He was the most unprofessional lawyer i have ever met....he lost my case, put me into financial ruin and allowed my ex spouse to take almost everything i helped build in the 25 years of marriage. He actually came to my divorce settlement unaware of my equalization and spousal support calculations and afterwards said to me "I guess the pie wasnt as big as you thought it was"!!...if i could offer anyone who reads my review my opinion, i would say to them "think about what you have at stake before hiring this lawyer to represent your interests..

Brian is not only one of the Calgary’s finest and talented lawyers but he’s also a caring, attentive, punctual, knowledgeable professional. Respected by Judges and legal Peers alike. Brian has represented me on two cases involving my Ex-wife. The first, He was successful in getting me proper access to my children and a fair child support structure. The second, Brian was able to have the courts remove a bogus EPO put against me, by my Ex-wife. Brian has gone above and beyond to make sure that Justic was served on my behalf. Even with a personal family tragedy, Brain didn’t miss a beat and was prepared and totally focused on my case. I felt heard and my wants were his priority. Brian has has represented us on more than one occasion, and I cannot say enough good things about him. We had some sticky situations in regards to custody and guardianship, and he has made the process smooth and as stress free as it can be. He understood our concerns and urgency, and was able to put all of our worries at rest. Each time he has gone to bat for us, we achieved exactly what we were hoping for, and in a very timely fashion. He is very quick to respond to us, and when it came to billing, we were extremely surprised to see that not every phone call, email etc was billed for. He is an excellent lawyer, and an amazing person with a big heart. He didn't just look at us as clients, he genuinely cared, and continues to. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a family lawyer, and feel extremely confident knowing that he represents us and is in our corner. Brian goes above and beyond what is expected. He did a good job in helping resolve issues the day of court and the evening before. As the client, I am greatful for the help he has done for me in resolving this matter. I have rated Brian a 5 in all categories because he provide great service. If anyone needs a good lawyer I would recommend him.

Mr. Warrington got my kids back for me and I can't thank him enough. My deranged wife left for Ontario with our two kids last summer then decided she was staying.... I was devastated!!
Mr. Warrington got in front of a Judge within days,
and granted me interim sole custody which ordered my wife to return the kids. She still told me to F*** off. But Mr. Warrington had the order registered right away in Ontario. It took longer than I wanted, 3 weeks, which was a huge time to be away from my kids, but one weekend we set out, with a registered court Order and with police assistance.!! tThe kids were back and ready for school. Mr. Warrington also cleared the way by calling the local Ontario police detachment, the lawyer for Air Canada not to mention an Ontario Judge. He also said 3 weeks is lightening speed in litigation.
I owe Mr. Warrington everything!

Mr. Warrington has gone to bat for me more than once, and without the slightest hesitation. He came to court with me on short notice in order to obtain a Court Order to take my daughter to Disneyland. Her father would not sign the travel authorization so Mr. Warrington represented me in Court and obtained an Order permitting me to travel with my daughter without the consent of her father for the rest of her childhood, plus full passport rights and none to the father. He was extremely upset with the lack of cooperation from my daughter's father. Every time I have an issue and need legal advice, Brian goes over and above the call of duty to help my situation. He has mediated many other family issues for me, his generosity is extraordinary and I am very thankful to have Brian as my lawyer. Highly Recommended!

Brian was appointed temporarily for an EPO case I had by my ex husband. He went above and out of his way to make sure he represented me to the highest standard even though I was through legal Aid. He even called me after my case while he was on vacation to see if I needed anything else. I wish I got to keep him as my divorce lawyer!!! Excellent

I hired Brian on short notice before a scheduled court appearance and he made time to consult with me and appear on my behalf. I had never been to court for anything before and as anyone can attest - family matters can be stressful and quite emotional. Brian took the time to explain all the ins and outs of the proceedings as well as the case law regarding my issue. He was always honest and up-front, fair and courteous with me. Knowing my situation, he diligently kept his costs as low as possible and did all he could to keep the case from going to trial. His calm demeanor and sharp wit certainly helped to ease any tensions during mediation. Brian took the time to consult with me after hours, even as late as 11PM. He listened to my concerns, took accurate notes and made the process a lot less intimidating than I had initially expected. Most importantly he treated me with dignity and respect and I certainly didn't feel like just another case to him. Thank you for your help Brian!

I cannot say enough good about Brian. My ex and I do not always get along and unfortunately there are situations when I need Brian's help. I was having trouble getting an agreement to take my little girl home to NL for my wedding, Brian stepped in and a week later I had a signed court order and my little angel is coming with me and my fiancée. None of my family back there have seen her since she was 3 months old so we are all very very thankful for Brian's help. He is very easy to work with and is always looking out for the best interests of the child. He is awesome and I would recommend him to anyone.

Worst lawyer ever!!!! This man should NOT be practicing law. If you want to be taken for everything you have, then you should hire Brian Warrington. He was never prepared or had a clue what he was doing. He was always late for meetings and doubled scheduled time.

After 3 years with this joke of a lawyer I'm still waiting for my divorce and approved court order for child support. His communication skills are horrible. He never returns my phone calls or emails. When questioned about this behavior he becomes a bully, i am walking on egg shells all the time as to not set him off. I am extremely disappointed with his work and professionalism. I would recommend hiring any two bit laywer over him.

Two years ago I was looking for a lawyer for my sister and did not know where to turn. I read these reviews and called Brian. I cannot say enough good things about this lawyer...he is amazing to say the very least! My only purpose in posting this is because the people who posted what I read about Brian 2 years ago have saved my sister in so many ways and I hope this will help someone else. Brian warrington has been my Lawyer for over three years now, I never hesitate to call him anytime about my on going situation. Brian has always gotten back to me in a timely manner and has kept as much as he could from wasteing court's time. He has many times called me after hours and has had the compassion to call after hours to check in on situations going on.. He has always had myself and my daughter's interest at heart. I hired Mr. Warrington to help me gain guardionship with my daughter as I was in a comman law relationship and my ex after our split made things difficult. Mr. Warrington unlike other lawyers tried to settle our differences outside of the court and it worked and I feel it as kept potentially bad blood from myself and the ex if we went through a full blown court case. I have a solid parent guardianship in place and it is because of Mr. Warrington's hardwork. I would stongly recommand Mr. Warrington as your lawyer especially when it comes to family law and separation.
