I hired her in 2017 to help me with my separation and custody case. I had high hopes, but I left feeling disappointed and like I wasted my money.
I told her I didn’t understand a lot of what was being said in court or in the agreement. She didn’t explain things clearly, and I didn’t feel supported. I didn’t know my rights or what I could ask for. I found out years later that things like my car payments could have been counted in support, but by then it was too late I had already paid everything off.
I was using my line of credit to pay her, hoping it would be worth it. But looking back, I feel like I didn’t get the help I deserved. One thing that really hurt was feeling like she didn’t fight for me the way she could have. Honestly, I felt like I wasn’t taken seriously because I’m a man. That’s how it felt, and it’s something I still carry with me

Angela gave really good advice and helped me get what I wanted and having to go to court. She treated me with respect

I put my faith in this lawyer to do the right thing and ensure my future as well as my daughter's future yet I've ending up paying her thousands of dollars over 5 years of service to only end up absorbing "his" debt. I've been struggling financially for years as I my wages are on the lower end of the scale yet "he" has managed to walk away unscathed. My health has declined as a direct result of this ordeal and I feel that this lawyer gave me very very bad advice. Another lawyer name came recommended to me but she wasn't in the office that day and Atwood-Brewka was so I chose her. I've regretted that day since. To all single parents out there, DO NOT pay for her services. I'm not sure if she has a concience...probably not. However karma has an interesting way of coming back around to bite one in the butt. I will never ever recommend her to anyone...I wouldn't dream of being so mean to them!!!
