Owen is professional, succinct and to the point. Didn't waste time and gave me realistic advice and guidance, not some lawyer nonsense just to drive up costs. I would also ask him to limit my time on the phone, as not to drive up the bill, which we was accepting of. All in all, I have no problem recommending him for family law matters.

Owen was the best thing that happened to me in the middle of a terrible divorce. Not only professional but personal. Of course everything wasnt perfect...no body wins in family court...But he got me what I asked for, care and control of my children. He also did my will for a eeally reasonable amount. I DO recommend!

THE worst experience I have yet to have with family law. Owen would do whatever he wanted whenever he wanted - sending and drafting letters that he never discussed with me. What we discussed and what he did were two separate things which was very frustrating. Arrogant and unorganized. During Covid19 while courts were closed and we were all in lockdown he some how managed to rack up over 3k in legal fees at my expense without communicating any thing that he was doing with me. Various letters and emails sent that I had never seen before. In the end my ex and I figured it out on our own and I let him go. Waste of time and money. I wish I saw these reviews sooner.

Owen took the time to get to know what was important to ME when I was first going through my divorce. He has always been knowledgeable and I am confident that the best interest of me and my boys are his goal. I had met with other divorce lawyers prior to acquiring Owen's services, and the interactions felt very cold and similar to that of a business transaction. With Owen, he is interested in my boys well being and is consistently available when I need his advice and representation. He has gone to bat for me and fought for what is right. I am very happy with the representation that I have received by Owen over the years.

I had Owen draft my cohabitation agreement. He was knowledgeable and prompt with his communication. He was clear about next steps and final bill was as expected. I think it helped that when we communicated I was organized and provided exactly everything he requested in a single followup communication. He made impacts clear both for my existing situation and what changes to expect if things changed in the future. I would use Owen again and would recommend him to others.

Terrible person! Terrible lawyer! I trusted him to guide me through a major turning point and he not only treated me with disrespect, his comments were completely out of line. He made me feel completely inadequate, like I was a waste of his precious time. It makes me sick to my stomache that I even spent a dime on his terrible service. Do not use this lawyer.

Used him to try to get a divorce settlement and a divorce in a nasty situation. He then bombed in court didnt bother pulling all the back up paperwork to back up the return affadavit my ex sent in, seemed more interested in kissing the judges butt then arguing my case when the opposing lawyer brought up issues. A few months later as we seemed to be getting closer to getting papers signed, he dropped off the planet. After a few months of waiting to see what the opposing lawyer was doing I tried to get in touch with him and his assistant to see where the case was sitting. Neither would return calls or emails. They still had my retainer on file and i had received no letters or contact from them saying anything. 6 months later to my own stupidity for trying that long to contact them i finally found a new lawyer who seemed to have better luck getting my files/info and retainer back from him. Total waste of time and money and increased stress trying to deal with a difficult divorce.

Horrible! Other comments accurate! Drags things out, says one thing to gain your business but doesn't actually follow through. It takes forever for him to get back to you. I was with him for a year without results. When a face to face meeting was finally scheduled, during the debrief prior to going into negotiations with the other party, he says he cant work miracles, the good thing about loosing your pension - it won't affect your current lifestyle. BUT he actually hasn't done anything to that point..Waste of money. He is cheaper; there is a reason for that! Go elsewhere! Fired without any results!

He WAS my lawyer, until it became clear to me that he would tell me one thing at one meeting then tell me something else the next time. Also, would only respond to one question out of every 3 or 4 questions posed. So, I changed lawyers.

My spouse had him for a lawyer and the matter would have been over long before it was if it wasn't for him. Dragged things out like you wouldn't believe. Instead of trying to work things out he picks fights so his client has to pay more money. Got figures in important documents wrong, spelt names wrong, was unprofessional in court, never did any paperwork and he overcharged my ex spouse to the point that he had to declare bankruptcy. Horrible lawyer. If you want nothing for alot of money give him a call.

Excellent lawyer. Have been using him for 3 yrs and he has always returned my calls promptly. Very professional. You can't go wrong with him. Rates are quite reasonable. Excellent courtroom presentation and seems to be well-received by judges. Doesn't drag his feet and gets things done in a timely manner.

This Guy doesn't return phonecalls, doesn't send progress reports & doesn't do what you instruct him to do. Then demands more money to keep supposedly negotiating for you and at the end of a couple of years of believing he's got "my best interest at heart", I find out he's done nothing! Here's hoping Karma is a ****!! Such disgusting behavior! Stay clear of this one unless you want to waste a few grande & your time to find yourself back where you started from. (Screwed like me!) Wish I saw this site before I hired him!! Would have saved myself a hell of a lot of grief! Such a Jerk!
