While in the hopes of a collaborative agreement, this lawyer’s tactic and demands were unfathomable. I was a new mom of a 2 month old pre mature infant. Kevin Heinrichs represented the father with a history of abuse. The most heart breaking thing to witness was his demand for my newborn to be apart from me and justifies that this is necessary to bond with dad and in order for this to happen, I would have to pump (breast milk) and deliver. The goal was to be collaborative and this lawyer brought out the worse in what was already a scary and sad situation. There is nothing lower than this. What happened to basic human decency. Witnessing a lawyer such as him is purely heart breaking.

Reading the reviews below, I cannot fathom how Mr. Heinrichs obtained the negative comments. No one wants to fight a custody battle, let alone one that takes place across provinces; however, working with Mr. Heinrichs definitely took a huge weight off our shoulders.
I never had the opportunity to meet Mr. Heinrichs face to face, but he worked tirelessly with us over email and phone. He answered every question, twice and ensured that we were over prepared for every court hearing.
With Mr. Heinrichs on our side, we felt even more confident! He was honest, straight forward, extremely knowledgeable and very compassionate. In addition, he answered all of our emails within 12 hours and took the time to explain things to us as humans and not just another case number.
There are no amount of words to explain how thankful, grateful and appreciative we are of him, his staff and his services.
I highly recommend Mr. Heinrichs to anyone who is in need of a lawyer!

Tax his invoices, they are inaccurate and should be scrutinized. Find another lawyer, do not fall for the advertising.

We hired Mr. Heinrichs and it was the best decision we ever made. He worked very hard, he was fair. He helped us to set the proper expectations for what could happen. It was obvious he cared about the best interests of the kids involved. I would trust him 100%, and that says something for a lawyer. He is expensive, to be sure, but in my opinion, totally worth it. Our case was extremely complicated due to international considerations, and his advice was invaluable.
