Amadeo is AMAZING. He’s been my go to for 15yrs. Anything I’ve needed help with, whether traffic or criminal he’s always been there n made it happen for me. He’s flashy and arrogant but I wouldn’t want a lawyer that wasn’t. He knows what he’s doing. He’s never asked me to write a review or over charged me. I’m very grateful for him. When I had some criminal problems he even checked to make sure my son was ok. He’s always kept me safe n out of problems. If there’s something he can’t deal with which hasn’t been very often he’s told me. I 100% recommend him and always do to anyone

Dishonest ,ridiculous fees ,think he's working for you but actually doing nothing all what he do he talk. When you find all his texts about his fees and not your case I suggest to change lawyers. He makes you believe he knows people in fact he doesn't know anyone .might be ok for traffic tickets but as a criminal lawyer he's the worst

This lawyer is a big scammer. He promises you things and then he doesn't deliver. Even his advise is skewed and wrong. He took too much money from us and did very little for that. He promised to visit my son in Jail on Saturday to get him out on bail but didn't bother once he got the money. He then turned around and black mailed us in paying him more money just to do very little again. I love to sue him and would complain to the Ontario Lawyers Association.

This guy is a total scam. He will try to impress you with cars and telling you that he knows people. In reality, the service he is delivering is a joke. I do not think he even has a real law degree. Stay away!

Amedeo and his team are fantastic!! After 2 long years of fighting my red light ticket and after the prosecution pushed to continue to prolong the case, the team fought hard in court and pushed for a dismissal, not taking no for an answer. It was a well articulated, thoughtful, and structured argument that ultimately won the case. I read the last review about the block fee ...and disagree. I was set to also plead guilty . I agree that his fees were a little more than I could afford but we worked first on an hourly rate then a fixed fee to continue without refund so he could still help me and it was worth the extra money even though I was gonna plead guilty . In my case I was charged with aggravated assault but he had it downgraded from attempted murder which would have costed me more in many ways . I didn’t wanna take the risk so I asked him to plea guilty . Ironically we were set to enter a plea five days ago but then he managed to turn things around again and got all charges dismissed ! I even offered him more money as a bonus and he didn’t want it. What a God send. Saved my life! he should only be your first and last call. - TC

Lawyer by name only - NOT by practice and not by ethics. Made the regrettable decision to retain him for an impaired and over 80. He took a block fee at first guaranteeing it would get dropped to a careless - then he said we could beat it all at trial - for more money of course ($4500 more to be exact). On the day of trial he pressured me to plead guilty making it seem like my only option even though I’d paid for trial. Refused to return any money even though he didn’t even run the trial he was paid for. He should be disbarred. I hope this prevents others from making the same mistake myself and others made by hiring Di Carlo. Do your research and get a real lawyer. Flashy cars are not a true measure of a great lawyer but that’s really all Mr Rolls Royce has going for him.

To this day I haven't experienced such great service from anyone as much as I have with Mr.DiCarlo very professional and thorough with they stick to what they say no empty promises they are very knowledgeable and honest I would never have anyone represent me other than Mr.Dicarlo I highly highly recommend his professionalism and experience to everyone out there for any legal services they had all my charges dropped and im pretty positive it would have been hard for anyone else to do the same or even similiar results.

Best money can buy. I had over 52 counts of fraud charges, he brought it down to one. Best criminal lawyer in town. I recommend him to all my friends. Thanks Amedeo! Amedeo Dicarlo is truly a God Send especially in times of what I can only describe as a legal hell on Earth situation. Mr. Dicarlo is in my honest opinion a legal guardian angel who saved my life from the many dangers of jail (Gangs, Crooked Guards, and Health Problems). He did this by getting me bail so I can get life saving surgery even after I missed my trial date which was not my fault! My ex-lawyer (Jeffry A House) got me incarcerated by telling me the wrong trial date which was one week and one day off and worst of all went ghost on me. To make matters even more terrible this was all happening while I was experiencing kidney failure a matter of life and death. Mr. Dicarlo is in my humble opinion a legal representative that you will be very proud to show up to court with and Mr. Dicarlo is very well respected and who you need on your legal side believe me.

I suggest to shop around more and avoid this guy as I got screwed over and wasted insane amount of money and ended up getting a worst deal possible. He is a hustler! had a very good experience with MR.Amedeo, I was not expecting what happened at all. Brifely I got a ticket and in my first court date Mr.Amedeo sent one of his representative and I wasn't satisfied with the results on that day. I asked the Rep to set up another court date for me, then I decided to continue by myself because my situation was weak in my case. Mr.Amedeo respected my decision and refund me the total amount I paid. The day before my second court date, I got a text from him to remind me about the court date, and on my second court date he sent one of his Representatives to stand with me and to help me without getting any money from me, which was a great surprise as I never had such experience before!! and the great news also was I got no points and no fine...all cleared! I would totally recommend Mr.Amedeo for everyone!

I highly recommend Mr. DiCarlo Amedeo, an excellent lawyer, who was recommended to me by my cousin and two friends who used his service. He has not only represented me in court with skill and professionalism, but has taken care about all scheduling, correspondence and meetings. Simply, I authorized him and forgot even the date when my court case was scheduled. After two months I received the good news that my case was dismissed, and I was fully clear of all charges correlated originally with the “careless driving” charge. I was going to use a different attorney but a friend of mine suggested I use Amedeo Dicarlo,because he got his sister off a serious charge,turns out my friend was mislead it was not a criminal charge it was a running a red light(very minor).I used him anyways for my charges.really never got to meet him only his student Carmelo(nice kid).I should have really spent more time researching to find a competent lawyer because he is not that.I paid what he asked without a problem.from that point of paying I was not able to talk to him,he missled me on the court discussions and I was not able to make educated and informed decisions because I was not told what was going on,he said he had it under control when he didn't.he told me he knew the judge and everything was all good. nothing was true at least what he told me.Do your research if your lawyer doesn't sit down with you when you first meet for at least two hours,you should keep looking.I wish I knew that before I hired Dicarlo.learn from me!

He did a great job fighting my stunt and careless charges. He was informed on what possible outcomes would be and implications of taking and pleading to certain convictions. He was knowledgeable and provided information on how to go about after my dealings to limit any issues I would have going forward after the court had ruled on the case.

I am writing this review to warn any of you considering hiring Amaedeo DiCarlo as your attorney. I HIGHLY ADVISE AGAINST IT - you will lose your case and money. I paid DiCarlo $4000. He did not show up to court. He also never answered the phone or replied to my queries. However, he did show up to my house in his Rolls Royce to collect an additional $3000 for the work he did not do. He did not have the decency to knock on my door, but sent one of his students.

Mr. DiCarlo has been my lawyer for over 5years now & I have to say that there is truly no one better. He is dedicated to make it happen. This is the worst lawyer you can possibly hire for any case unless you are planning on jail time or pleading guilty on your behalf. Absolutely ridiculous and not possible to get in contact with. Amadeo will take your money and then stand before a judge and screw you over. Try calling his office right now there will be no answer!! I hired Amedeo for one of my minor charges. He was able to get me diversion when it seemed that it was not an option. I had to complete 20 hours of community service. Had my charges withdrawn. He kept me up to date on what was happening with my charges and got my case completed within 3 months. I had great experience with counsel and got the best outcome. I referred him all my buddies and never heard anything negative about Amedeo.

I have sent this guy a dozen cases, he has lost all except for 2! In each case I hear the same story that the initial amount that he was charging gets pushed higher and higher. He promises referral commissions, and never delivers! You might as well represent yourself, or hire a real lawyer...not one who gets driven around in a 2001 rolls royce!

Amedeo Dicarlo recently represented me in court and is a little expensive but is worth every penny. I was charged with possession and also intent to distribute. Court proceedings took a while but thanks to his agent Carmelo Truscello everything was dropped and only given 30 community service hours to complete.... The communication was between me and Carmelo entirely. I had researched Amedeo after hiring him and found a prior court suspension due to his aggressive style of lawyering (which I admire) in court in the past and was promptly contacted by him the same day to clarify the past suspension and to reassure me my case was in the right hands and I felt reassured. He represents quite a bit of people every year and not everyone who retains even the greatest of criminal lawyers will get off scotch free it all depends on their situation of course and I have read the comments here prior to hiring him and am now writing this to debunk a lot of the comments. I will definitely recommend him

amedeo dicarlo has been my familys lawyer for years, he handles the majority of our bad driving habbits. he has also taken on a few criminal cases. he is a good lawyer and takes each case personally. his staff is also involved to help your case move forward so that no court apperance is wasted. i have had many good expereinces and would recomend amedeo. some of these comments are extremely uneducated, not all cases are the same and not all are completely beatable and i know that from experience. cant make everyone happy. good lawyer great guy.

Mr.DiCarlo charged me at a very affordable rate for a domestic assault case i had going on. ($3500) he got the charge dropped to a peace bond and i got to reconnect with my family at a much faster rate, thanks to Mr.DiCarlo pushing the matter forward as quickly as possible.I never had any issues on communicating with this lawyer. I did try to inquire to retain another lawyer before contacting Mr.Dicarlo and he wanted more money and couldn't guarantee me good news and said im pretty much screwed. I owe many thanks to Mr.DiCarlo and my family does too!I have recommended this lawyer to other individuals and so far i haven't heard any complains on their behalf.

Hired for DUI. I should have looked at this site before hiring Amedeo diCarlo as my lawyer. He is a scam. He states he knows the crown personally, and that he will get your case thrown out before court. There is absolutely no communication with Amedeo Dicarlo. Your case will eventually be brought up by the courts, where Mr.DiCarlo will ask for ANOTHER FEE to represent you,or he will tell you to plead guilty and settle for the courts indiscretions on your case. As he states that people say to him "they could have done the process by themselves". It is because this process can be done by yourself. He and his associate are very unreliable. They will give you the run-around, eventually he will tell you to plead guilty, and settle for a lesser charge. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! higher another/better lawyer. At least you wont be throwing away money hiring this lawyer. If you hire dicarlo to represent you, prepare for the worst. My opinion, all the positive comments on this site are probably him.

My girlfriend was charged with a possession charge we were refered to Amedeo Dicarlo by Carmelo Truscello a student whom also works with mr Dicarlo. We paid a fee of 3500$ and hoped that we would get the best result possible. Mr Dicarlo presented him self to be very confident and knew what he was talking about. The crown was asking for a criminal record but mr Dicarlo was able to work around and push for the result that we ultimately wanted. He was at times hard to get a hold of but we were able to keep contact with his assistant Carmelo, from whom we were refered by and would receive a response either from him or Carmelo who was also very helpful within a day. We were extremely impressed with the level of loyalty both individuals had to us and we felt like Amedeo as well as Carmelo actually cared to help. We highly recommend Amedeo to all of our friends for criminal and traffic ticket stuff. I have since then contact Mr. DiCarlos office for advice and am always impressed, great lawyer

I had hired mr dicarlo for a simple possession charge ( 3 grams of marijuana) Mr.dicarlo told me to pay him 2500 dollars and the case will be thrown out and I would not even have to see the inside of the court room once. I initially paid him 1000 to start things off . Mr.dicarlo called me everyday and constantly harassed me for the following week for the remainder of the cash. Once I paid him he never answered my calls or texts. He even forgot to tell me about my court date . Then one day I get a call from him saying the crown wants to give me a conditional discharge which will stay on my record for 3 years , I told him I want an absolute discharge at the minimum . He then said we need to take this to trial and pay him another 2000 dollars. Thats when I decided to fire mr,dicarlo and represent myself. It turns out the crown did offer me the absolute discharge and mr.dicarlo was just trying to make an extra 2000 dollars. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CON ARTIST.

My husband had been arrested for hit and run by a person who lied about my husband's car hitting her. We suffered for a year and a half, wondering whether or not my husband would do jail time. We were hoping to have charges dropped to leaving the scene in which case the arrest record would go away. He would pay a fine and have some demerit points against him. BUT THANKS TO Mr Amadao Dicarlo our lawyer. The whole care was withdrawn. He was available when we needed him and very tenatious and we felt that we had a friend. AVOID THIS LAWYER!!! His price was good on the intial quote we came to an agreement, a week after paying him he demanded more money, so I ended up paying about 45% more then the intial quote. The worst part was he promised me my case would be dismissed and last minute while we were in court and I mean VERY last minute he was talking to the judge in court then came over to me quickly explain that I would have to plead guilty but I would not have any criminal record, so I did as he told me and I did get a criminal record and now I can not do anything about it. Do yourself a favour get a good lawyer this guy just wants your cash and nothing more he will come across confident and will promise you what you want to hear and after you pay him the tables turn completely, I believe I could have represented myself and had better results.
