Jim is extremely knowledgeable and always ahead of the game. He handled the closing on our house and many other issues that have come up since. He is always responsive, proactive and tells us how it is. Those are things I appreciate in my attorney and several of my friends have used his services and been very happy. He is one of the best!

Impossible to get a hold of! I would call almost every day and it took him several weeks to get back to us each time for a simple real estate matter. He charged nearly double what the standard going fee is and he did not disclose his fee until the day of the closing. At the closing, he showed up in basketball shorts and a t-shirt and he had neglected to inquire about heating oil and propane that should have been settled by the closing date. We are now out several hundred dollars because of his incompetence. I feel that Mr. Dys took advantage of a divorce/home sale situation and with so many other attorneys to choose from, I would NOT recommend James Dys of Livonia NY.
