Worst divorce lawyer ever!!! Actually said the ex deserved nothing which would have landed me in a lengthy court battle. Guess who wins there.....

I had a very brief meeting with this lawyer in her role as duty council at our local court house.She had to call another lawyer for help on one point I had asked about...then when I asked for futher information she asked me how much money I make and then promptly told me I likely "don't qualify for any more advice" Since when is DUTY council's services bound by someones income figures...bit fishy huh?? Might have had something to do with the "other" lawyer who I was asking about. Thats exactly the time she cut me off !! Now I'm lawyerless. And apparently not allowed to ask for duty council support..Thanks Sarnia family law legal system and court house ...once again you show your true colors and motives!!!

This young lady was all too eager to communicate to me that I had no case of "conflict of interest" because it had been too long. She was somewhat rude I felt.She did not seem to know what the responsibilities of being "duty counsel" were, in my opinion. I certainly do not trust her and was astounded at the fact the she "ushered" me out of her office at the first mention of a conflict with another lawyer.

Seems to know little about family law yet she is the duty council giving you advice and she claims to be a family law lawyer. Knows nothing about property issues etc. and much more. Nothing about Superior Court. Will ignore you when you need help the most. Can't answer half the questions you ask her. Can't understand how she can be in the position shes in.
