This "lawyer" may be the biggest crook in the city. My boyfriend has been dealing with a family court matter for over 6 years and unfortunately retained this criminal as his lawyer. John Kirby (doesn't deserve to even be called "Mr.") gave him the run around for YEARS and YEARS. He never returned phone calls, or emails, not to mention, made decisions on his own accord about my boyfriends family court matters without consulting with my boyfriend about it. Then turns around and says "oops, sorry, I guess I didn't realize how crazy your ex really is". He then continues to make decisions without consultation with my boyfriend. Finally, to top it all off, he never once kept my boyfriend, his client, in the loop on the status of the bill and then at the end, throws a bill at my boyfriend, upwards of $20,000, this is after other installments of payments, not a single breakdown of costs, payments or anything tracking the forever climbing bill. STAY AWAY FROM THIS POS!! HE IS A CROOK!!

He does not do a very good job listening to his clients, and likes to drag things out, probably so he can take more of your money. His staff was lovely, but he really doesn't know what he is doing.

Good knowledge and took some extra steps to ensure everything was done correctly and within civil/financial law. My big issue was speed and communication. They were very slow at doing everything (except the young guy doing title changes). No communication - we had to constantly follow up. Don't go here if speed is a concern.

HE DOES NOT FULLY UNDERSTAND THE MEANING OF "MATT"RIMONIAL HOME, NOR WILL HE ESCAPE THE REALITY OF EQUILIZATION, WITH AN ADDED BONUS OF SPOUSAL SUPPORT FOR HIS CURRENT CLIENT!

Very conciliatory...he really tried to help us resolve the issues before legal action was necessary...very tempered advice....very patient and well informed...offered a lot of good advice...made himself available until things resolved...no surprises with fees...did not try to inflame the situation in any way...I would highly recommend Mr. Kirby

He knows the law and how to abuse the law. Tends to cancel and delay Only willing to settle or proceed through courts - hence increasing his bill substantially

a great calming personality, matter of fact speaking, doesnt waste your time, extremely intelligent, wonderful staff and secretary, call, talk, email, communicate at any time, if he were our first lawyer instead of our fifth, we would have spent alot less money and had things sttled much sooner than the six years it took for a ridiculous sibling rivalry over a ten thousand dollar estate simply due to siblings being jealous and having anger issues, no real paperwork that showed any foul issues...Kirby was and is amazing
