M Y was attentive and responsive in the beginning of the case as a we got into a year of the case I started to notice how during trial she really wasn't making sure the proper questions was being asked nor did I feel heard. She got very disrespectful within the second year ignoring my calls, not texting back, she even got rude and very unprofessional upon my trying to make an appointment to discuss the case BEfore trial not to mention she had been paid in full. I will say she was affordable and did return the last payment I sent because we parted ways.

It has been a pleasure to work with Mary Yancy. She is very knowledgable of the law and she keeps the clients best interest at the forefront of her work. Mary has a very down to earth personality, she is understanding and never made me feel as if my concerns were insignificant. I felt confident walking into the court room with her by my side. Any time communication was sent or received on my behalf she kept me informed via email or text message. If you need to be babysat or have trust issues then she is not the attorney for you. She won't call you every day, she might not call you every week. She communicates when necessary but I always felt confident that she was handling business properly. She is very professional and comes across as very genuine. I used/am currently using Mary for Family Law.

Please DO NOT use this attorney. This attorney is very nasty to her clients, does not keep you informed on what she is doing in your case, lies to you, and has bad judgment. You are better off using a court appointed attorney or representing yourself. She will help the opposing party ruin your life. Beware!!!! In my opinion she should not practice law, an idiot that I shouldn't have listen to referred her to me DO NOT make the same mistake.

Client Review:
I would never recommend Ms Yancy for legal services. She is a non responsive incompetent attorney who has a record of untimely work with the court. She caused my hearing to be canceled due to an incomplete motion and lack of preparing a proper brief. She refused to refund my retainer fir work she did not due. She is under investigation for these acts by the Michigan Bar Association. Although her retainer is cheap (750) you get what you pay for from her....nothing!
