You quoted John on two different types of divorce, uncontested and contested. Because of your explicit procrastination and lack of communication, and a total disregard for your clients well being, he had to shift to contested.
You had no one at the office to take calls, disappeared weeks at a time with little to no response to your client. He even made efforts to come by the office during business hours, leaving work early to do so. At which points you had no one there to help him. he has had to shove paper work under your door, only to find out that days and weeks later you still haven't been in to collect it , much less process it. When he did manage to reach you, you were short, distant and rude. You could have helped prevent the financial devastation your ex-client now faces, but you were to busy being out of town and out of touch.
The little paper work you did manage to do looked to be copy and pasted from the internet. It was generic at best.

Did a great job for me. Explained everything to me. I made the choices and he did the work. My mediation was hard, but he took the time to explain my options and did not rush me and push me into making a decision.

Didn't file a single petition I asked him to file. Does not timely return calls or emails. Cut him loose.

Had a simple divorce hard to get on phone would not return phone calls money driven as all lawyers. I was willing to let wife have one of the vehicles. all were in my name and financially he was willing to give her the car without protecting my interest of having her refinance the vehicle in her name. So I cut him loose. Paid him up front for paper work so lost the money but then he want another 5k. no kids involved.

I called a lot of lawyers for my divorce. He was the only one I could get on the phone before paying $$. He told me what was likely to happen in my case and what it would cost. He was the only lawyer honest enough to tell me why my case might cost more (it didn't). Call as many lawyers as you want, but give this guy a call too.
