Dan is a fair, just and truly places his clients first. He makes himself available 24/7 with his professional opinion and the ability to create a calm sense to his clients. Family Law is an emotional journey and he shows with not only is actions yet with his knowledge that he truly cares for the best interest of the children involved and you as his clients wellbeing. I cannot rave enough about Dan. He is truly remarkable! I am forever thankful for him and his firm for all the support throughout a trying time. I ask that you not consider the other negative reviews and just have a conversation with him and you will see exactly what I have said. Good luck to all of you who may need to seek counsel for I know the stress and frustration it may cause. Dan is an excellent attorney and I can honestly say a counselor too! If you want to seek justice Dan is your MAN!

We agree with the previous rater's assessment. He is arrogant, and thinks he knows it all. You pay him, but he will not listen to or give you an opportunity to speak. We suspect he may in fact have connections with the opposing side, what with his balking unwillingness to give us concrete info or advice. He even chastises us, and insults us with comments and opinions totally outside his purview. He treats us like stupid children, and he is in our employ!

Used Daniel for a mediation in a family case. It seems that the mediation function is now mandated by the State but there is a small pool of certified mediators that are also family law attorneys who alternate between representing clients and mediating for fellow attorneys . . . . a little cozy as it seems one hand washes the other but that is the current SC law. Dan mediated two sessions in our case for a total of nearly 17 hours at his normal billing rate. The end result? Not one thing was agreed upon and we paid him as well as our attorney's to spend the day chatting and killing time. I had asked for Dan to get specific issues agreed upon as many were there already. His response was that the way he did mediation was it was either 100% or nothing which as anyone that has tried to mediate any issue knows, neither side will ever get everything they hope for. The results bore that out and even when it was clear there would be no total agreement early in the 2nd session,he contined
