I to hired without looking at reviews and I confronted her with my findings , Due to my case was family fighting over a house on the coast worth millions . And how important that No mistakes be made , in the end Jan Turner WON this case for me !! In court she was outstanding and very professional ! She has 30 years of clients and I'm see the clients that prevailed didn't take the time to give a review .. But of course I see bad reviews from upset clients that had the time , I would hire her again in the future when needed .. She is a one person team so you do need to be patient on her responding back but she's getting the work done .. Best part she will not over charge you I payed under 6,000 and my sisters high priced lawyer cost 40,000 and they loss .. Don't judge a book by its cover or by other people words of disappointment

Terrible lawyer who did not look out for her best interest at all. Had I have seen these reviews sooner I would have used to someone else. She came to us with all of these options and benefits and by the end left us with nothing. She did not have our best interest she did not stand up for us and it seems like she maybe even taken a deal outside of anything that was beneficial to us or of our knowledge. The reviews here are absolutely correct and true. Overall we felt like she was almost against us by the end and did not have any protection from her and pretty much making the case as short as possible and collecting the most amount of money she could for herself. We really had a lot of belief and faith in her. And we had an awesome case even she said so in the beginning but then it's like she picked apart the case herself instead of fortifying. Told us all kinds of things and it just seem like a bunch allies

Janis Turner is a terrible lawyer. We had a simple eviction and her delays have cost us months! Her court filings were rejected because they were full of errors. Her communication skills are horrendous. Save your money!

We hired Janis Turner to help with a case involving a very sensitive matter involving a cemetery and the gravestone of a deceased relative. What a horrible attorney!! Janis Turner fouled up our cases TWICE. Because of her stupidity, our case was "dismissed with prejudice" against us. Even after the case was dismissed with prejudice, she still filed another lawsuit a year later! She lied to us for 3 years, and we only found out how poorly she handled the case when we got a copy of the case file ourselves from the court. Only after we were in too deep did we find out she was disciplined by the California Bar multiple times. Stay far away from the idiot!!!
