If you need someone to advocate for you, Alan Preyra is your guy. I had a slip and fall accident that took many years to resolve (my case was complex) and he never stopped believing that we could win the case even when I had at times. He is extremely knowledgable which always put me at ease and he knows many people in the field and how they operate so you know you are in good hands. His tenacity is unrivalled which is what makes him such a great lawyer. I would 1000% recommend Alan if you have had an accident and feel like you need representation. Not only is he all of the above but on top of that he is a genuine, kind, funny man that even helped with transporting me to and from some of our meetings even when I was out of his way. It was a long ordeal but I thank Alan from the bottom of my heart for everything that he did for me.

Dishonest crook.Only after his money and not the plaintiff. Lies, indifference can only describe him as a man and a lawyer who had altercations with the law himself https://www.law.utoronto.ca/utfl_... He was referred to me by the Diamond and Diamond, a firm without a lawyer as I discovered later on. He resigned from my case, I believe, due to his inability to defend the case in court. He inflated charges. He doesn't care except for himself. Nobody needs a lawyer like that who put your case in jeopardy.

This lawyer defiantly has an ego issue, which is a large flaw in any lawyer who is working for a victim. I used him several years ago and after speaking with multiple interns and lack of return calls and never really understanding who was in charge of my file at anyone time and was very disappointed, when I attended my discovery as It was not even a member of PB who represented my matter it was outsourced to another firm ...I fired this man and must say , it was blessing to find that there are good lawyers that do listen and care. I did not see either from Alan P.

I am very happy with the work and outcome that Mr. Preyra did for me. He settled my case even when I wanted to give up, he assured me that I would be ok and the judge also told me that he was a great lawyer and that I was in good hands. He is not a bully and he fought really hard for me. I recommend him to anyone who needs a great lawyer!! Thank you

I think Alan is a great lawyer. He has always returned my calls and emails. He is very easy to talk to and explains everything very thoroughly. I really enjoyed our meeting together. He showed my husband and I around his new office building (which is beautiful) and made us feel very welcomed. I would and will recommend Alan and his firm to anyone looking for a lawyer. We started with diamond and diamond and I am so greatful that Alan was the one that dealt with our case.

Alan came highly recommended to me. I hired Alan to represent me in a slip and fall accident. I was very upset when the accident happened. When I went to see him, he immediately put me at ease. He was always polite, and returned my calls or emails, and if he could not, one of his law clerks did. And in a timely fashion. No serious case is settled within months. I knew it would take a long time. Whenever I contacted him to find out where the situation was at he ALWAYS got back to me and answered any question I had. He, and his team, were very courteous, professional and compassionate. He asked me to be patient and to trust him. I was patient and I completely trusted him AND he made it worthwhile for me. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about Alan. I would happily recommend or refer anyone to him and I will! THANK YOU ALAN!

I used Alan as my lawyer for a slip and fall down some stairs... Yes it took a while as others said here you deal mostly with the clerks but that is how most lawyers work. Yes it takes time to settle your claim but that is not his fault that the other party dragging their feet over all I am happy with the service I got from him and his whole staff yes they only contact you when they need more info or something along those lines. As for them answering my questions never had a problem with that. As for some on here saying he rude I never found that to be the case at all was very polite with me and my wife. I would say take your case to him let him see what he can do for you

Just wait to you see what his real "cut" is, it is not the 20, 25, 30, 35 percent you think you are signing away. He gets more of the settlement than you will

I would not recommend Alan or his law firm to anyone. I went in to the office thinking I was hiring Diamond and Diamond but when I got there I was told their "partner firm" Bergmanis and Preyra would handle my file. He neglected my file, his clerks would ignore my emails, and he would set up phone meetings and then miss them. When I'd follow up to see what happened his clerk would say "something came up". He wouldn't do what he said he was going to, and when I called him out on this he was unbelievably rude and arrogant. Finally I had enough and I ended up firing him and hiring another lawyer to handle my claim. This ended up costing me a lot of money but it was worth it just to get rid of him. My next lawyer was amazing and had everything settled within 2 months. There are great personal injury lawyers out there, my advice is not to settle for this one.

Only communication with me through law clerks. His objective appears to cut a deal for his benefit, not the clients. Classic ambulance chaser with all it's glory. He is an expert in this area, but his practice is the equivalent of a legal puppy mill.
