I was fortunate enough to find Laura Schantz. Laura is absolutely amazing, not just as a top notch attorney, but as a person as well. I really appreciated the level of caring and professional expertise of Laura and the rest of the people in her firm as well as the skill she exhibited in negotiating an extremely fair result for me. Laura is an honest, smart, diligent, compassionate, no-nonsense attorney with an incredible attention to detail. She really listened to what my situation was, asking meaningful questions and worked with me on what results I wanted to achieve as well as educating me on what would be more realistic results. Laura, as well as the members of her team (Julie and Kaylee) were always caring and on top of everything. Whether it was sending or returning emails or phone calls to me or the opposing counsel, to checking in and making sure that I was doing okay, they were always there. I highly recommend Laura. She is an amazing and hones attorney and person.

I retained Laura Schantz as I was in need a legal represntation in a child custody battle with my daughter's mother. Laura Schantz has too much on her plate and seems to be clueless in regards to family law. It seemed as though I knew more specifics regarding state statues than she did as I found myself continually correcting her statements. If this was not bad enought the firm attempts to over charge you for services rendered. For example, I attended a 30 meeting with Laura Schantz in her office and 30 days later I receive a bill attempting to collect fees charging me for an hour meeting. And this was not the only occurrence, it happened before but I did not track the time frame on the previous occassions. In ending, you can find a family lawyer to represent you with much more knowledge for a much cheaper rate and better ethics. I wouldn't even allow Laura Schantz to represent me free of charge.
