I went to Zelma for a divorce. She fought hard for me to retain my house, grave plots of 4 of my children, plus my grave site. My ex walked away from his responsibility and now he has no rights to Spousal property or anything. She also fought hard that he would have to pay all legal bills, including mine.She did a great job and I can't see anything that the negative comments have said in my experience with Zelma.

Zelma represented me and my kids in 2014-2016. She was fabulous. I highly recommend her! She is cool, calm, collected, and fierce. Very smart and empathetic.

Zelma was appointed as my children's council. Not that I have had good experiences with any lawyers but she takes the cake. Both parents were supposed to take our children for an interview each. My wife took to both so she got a very one sided view. Also she was in contact with my wife's lawyer and did not copy me in any of it, as per her letter to me. Nothing was said about the assault on me by my exwife that happened in front of the children, or that my exwife told our children that I was going to jail. These were 2 very emotionally hurtful incidents on both children. Zelma is very unprofessional

Zelma Hardin helped me throughout an extremely difficult custody battle my ex had waged against me. It lasted iver ten years, i cant stress how much she helped my family. In fact,I gave my daughter Zelmas grandmothers name because of all the help she gave me. Reading these reviews is really strange, i cant relate at all. Zelma will always hold a place in my heart for all the help she gave us, over and above what was required. I know you know who this is, Zelma if youre reading this. I will never forget all the good youve done, and my kids know too. Much love, please take care of yourself.

Zelma Hardin helped me thru a very difficult divorce and worked very hard to understand the workings of a farm in order to better represent me. She constantly kept my childrens best interest in front of both parents. Her directness was appreciated so that I was not only thinking of myself. Highly recommend her.

Zelma Hardin is a very unprofessional and rude lawyer. Too old to remember and always assumed things and decide on your behalf. She takes control over your case and doesn't even hear you want your goal is. She will do things on her way only and make you feel stupid and unheard,. Stay away from this lady.

Not sure why Alberta Law Society cannot get rid of this lawyer of 70's era. She is too old to remember anything! She cannot pay attention to matters! lies in front of Justice. She takes Legal Aid cases because that's the only way out for her to make some money! Stay away from Zelma Hardin at any cost!

Zelma was appointed as the lawyer for our children in a contentious child custody matter. Zelma was incredibly unprofessional and unhelpful in holding the kids interests first. The children will forever be negatively impacted from her decisions while acting as “their voice”. Stay away...nobody wins with her involvement. Too old too uninterested.

Zelma cost me the right to my children. Prior to her accusations of coaching the kids and I had been establishing a relationship of a positive nature and bonding as best we can during custody battles. Their first visit for counsel what ever was said was different from the second visit as they had recently watched their father physically abuse me. They informed their lawyer of this incident and she accused of influencing. I have not seen my kids in a month. Thank you Zelma. This has been an On going issue and not the first time their father has abused me or my children they have been telling people for 5 years they are not happy and no longer wish to deal with abuse. They are kept from me on a regular basis and this was what we were working on prior to Zelma's accusation. Thank you Zelma. for enabling our abuser.

Terrible! The worst lawyer I have seen in 10 years. She is lazy. She is generally unprepared. Exceedingly rude. Of questionable integrity. Uninformed - that is to say, her knowledge of matters to do with family law are very poor. She should not be allowed to practice family law!!

She is a very rude unprofessional lady. She is hated by several of her peers. She takes kids away from good parents and uses our flawed courts system to allow bad parents to have their children. She should not be allowed to practice family law.
