He never returned phone calls. He never alerted important Motions and filings from the opposing attorney. He charged for services never rendered. He was incompetent and hurt my case more than he helped. Hes a sleaze and con. DO NOT HIRE JIM RICE!

I retained Mr. Rice for a criminal matter that is still pending. Although sometimes he gets busy, he does call back and has been very helpful with department of social services.

My husband hired Jim Rice to amend child support since my husband moved and changed jobs. My husbands ex wife also refuses to take my ex off of her car title and she refuses to take herself off of his so Mr. Rice was also supposed to take care of this in court. Mr. Rice was prompt getting his contract to us, prompt in cashing our $1,000.00 check and he essentially disappeared. We have PROOF that he never filed the amendments and my husband is now being taken to court by his ex b/c the amendments were never made. Its been almost a yr since Mr. Rice was hired and 6 months since we've heard from him despite many calls and emails to him. We filed a complaint to the NC Bar and are awaiting a response. We have requested all of our money back for services NOT rendered. Our phone records show he only made a few calls to my husband and that was back in March. This guy is a rip off atty. BEWARE, stay away from this guy! He took our money and ran.
