nothing good to say, rude, obnoxious, unprepared, repetitive questions, money grab, unethical, unresponsive... I am trying to use 50 words to tell others to stay clear for their own good and I cannot sum it up any further. waste of time and money :(

I hired this lawyer to help me with student loans, based on his informative website.
He quoted me $400 for an hour phone call, in which he subsequently didn't offer anything, i felt like i was playing 20 questions. About 1/2 way thru he said he was not qualified to answer student loan questions, he was a bankruptcy lawyer.
3/4 hour into this he wanted to have a 3 way conversation with my other lawyer, i told him it was not neccesary, since i trusted his info. Meanwhile i wound up paying two lawyers for the time of 1!!! My other lawyer had to get back to him, and he ended my hour long conversation at about 45 minutes.
At the end, he said he went 'way out of his specialty' and he would have to charge me $500 for this 'hour long' phone call!!!
I would look elsewhere.....

I was being pursued by a creditor, and Mr. Alper came up with a very creative solution to give me leverage in settling my case. He may not be the best communicator out there, but he's very smart and saved me literally thousands of dollars than if I tried to fight the creditor myself. Actually knows what he's talking about.

I found that his knowledge of asset protection law is outstanding. He saved me over $ 100,000 from a creditor. Fees reasonable and staff friendly. Do not understand prior reviews from 2012. Must have changed office staff. Very smart attorney.

DO NOT USE THIS OFFICE!!!! You are not allowed to question ANYTHING! They give you little to no explanation of anything you are required to sign. The staff has used foul language with me and referred us to another lawyer as a "substitute" at a lower rate who didn't even show up for our hearing!!! This "substitute" has never called to apologize or offer explanation and Alper's office has not followed up. It has been 3 weeks and we have not gotten a check back to replace the money we paid for this "no show". HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! -

I had a similar experience as the other person who posted here. He charged $400 for a consult of less than one hour and provided little help for my situation. Also comes off as condescending. He then wanted $1000 to do the legal work that I needed done, which wasn't that complicated (it just consisted of creating and filing some documents). I'm just glad I cut my losses and found another (helpful) lawyer to do what I needed to do, who isn't in it just for the money.

Outrageously Overpriced and Unhelpful. I paid him $750.00 and he only talked with me less than an hour. His advice was no more helpful than other attorneys. Run from him, he just wants your money and will not help you even when you are a client of his. He is arrogant, won't answer emails, and wants off the phone as soon as possible because you pay him in advance. Horrible experience. He does not offer CONCRETE advice. Only talks vaguely even though I paid him to help us. He is a shame to all good attorneys.
