What an outstanding Lawyer! I have had occasion to use a number of other lawyers in the past, but Mr. Horwitz is the best lawyer I have dealings with to date. He is brilliant, as well as scrupulously honest and gets the job done.

I have had to use the services of a lawyer a few times and have always chosen Mr. Bill Horwitz. He is knowledgable and compassionate at the same time. I also had to go to court, on one occasion, and I could not have had better representation than Mr. Horwitz.He keeps working hard until all parties are satisfied. If in doubt whom to choose for a lawyer, my vote is Mr. Bill Horwitz every time! You will be very happy with the results.

Have nothing bad to say about this man and his practice. I felt like a person from day one not just another file in the back of a crowded office. He took on my case with such a drive and passion and ended it with the same. It was a long 4 years of headaches and paper work from my case. However Mr.Horwitz and his receptionist still managed to be positive and very pleasant. Excellent research team. Could not say anything negative towards this practice or Mr.Horwitz himself. I am very pleased with his professional opinions and his personable disposition. He took the time to fully understand my case and all the possibilities that could arise from it. He is a lawyer who is fair in pricing and doesn't hide anything. He tells it like it is. If you want someone to stand up for you and represent you with amazing knowledge for every area of the law, then this is the lawyer for you. Thabk you so much Bill and Kim

This is the lawyer I have been looking for since I arrived in Edmonton from Toronto..He is honest, straight forward and fair! He gives lawyers a good name! If not for Mr. Horwitz, I would be in deep truble

I was directed to Bill by a Realtor 5 years ago and I couldn't possibly have survived without the help, compassion and tenacity of this wonderful man. In many ways he reminded me of a TV character by the name of Columbo in that he was so intuitive and his very high morals were what I respected the most. He represented me in my divorce case and his total disdain for men who cheat on their wife made him like a pitbull and there was no excuses that he was prepared to accept. He fought so hard for me and I shall always be grateful and thankful. Reading the negative reviews made me sad and angry but then I have to remind myself that there will always be these type of people and their negative mentality is not worth giving them the time of day! Bill, I am so honored to have met you and just a couple of days ago, I met your lovely wife over the phone. Give a big hug to her and your little Missy. She was always a highlight on my visits to see you. God Bless you and your family!

These negative reviews respecting Bill Horwitz are absolute rubbish - DO NOT LISTEN TO THEM. I am a female who retained Bill Horwitz as the Plaintiff on my divorce case & he was my 3rd lawyer and the only person that could fight against my ex husband's lawyer who was well known by other lawyers for driving up costs. They fought hard and I was under no illusion that the more they fought, the higher my costs went with Bill. COMMON SENSE - in a divorce case (which I assume are these two reviews are due to the bitterness projected) where assets and/or child custody issues are at hand, that fees you end up paying your lawyer are ENTIRELY based on whether or not there is a fight from the other side. Do your homework and check for yourself. Your costs can be $1000 or $50,000 depending on the fight. These negative posts exhibit the writer's lack of self education and resulting bitterness which has nothing to do with Bill. He is fair, honest, knows his business and is very well regarded. Kim M

This lawyer is not up front about his costs. You will be surprised when you get a bill in the mail for services you and he did not negotiate or agree on

If it a divorce lawyer you are looking for, stay away from William (Bill). He spends more time reviewing everything with you from the beginning of the case and making excuses of why things are not progressing than he does working on the case...and all that time gets charged to you! I really do not believe that divorce law is his forte.
