I would like to thank Alice and her staff for all the help they provided to my late Mother. They have been kind, helpful, accurate and highly professional. I interviewed several lawyers. Alice was so different -- not only was she interested in my Mother’s legal and health issues, but also her social support network and many other non-legal segments of her life. I had the sense of Alice wanting a whole picture of my Mother and also wanting to help ensure her well being in general. In addition to her clear knowledge and leadership in Florida elder law, that care has always meant a lot.
The office was helpful preparing a will, which reflected exactly what my Mother wanted and was executed with no problem. They also helped her apply Medicaid benefits, which made a major difference in our ability to help care for her and afford her health care and medications.
Telephone calls were easy to arrange and paperwork was done easily as well.

Now that my parents are settled in the nursing home and their estate secured, I wanted to recognize your staffs’ professionalism and exemplary communication skills that made a potentially stressful time for my family uncomplicated and unproblematic.

I live out of state and while visiting my father in Florida I discovered he had been taken advantage of by a local business. Upon returning to my home I consulted an attorney. He told me I needed to find an elder care specialist in Florida. I commenced a web search for elder care attorneys near my father’s home. After talking to numerous attorneys’ offices on the phone, it was clear that the office of Alice Reiter-Feld was the one I should hire. This was an excellent decision and I’m so glad that I did. They resolved the issue with the local business quickly, and also updated my father’s estate planning documents that were more than ten years old. As my father’s health began to fail, they assisted me in keeping him in his home. After his passing, they compassionately assisted me with the settling of the estate. I cannot say enough good things about Alice, Sharon and the other staff.

I would never recommend this attorney. Once she has the retainer she is arrogant and condescending and so is her staff. I found out she way over-charged for Estate Planning documents that I later found out could have been down-loaded, with attorney advice, for a third of the price. She would not not renegotiate on fees when confronted with this. For all her purporting to be an advocate for seniors, she takes advantage of exactly that clientele who are not savvy with what can be done through legal help on-line. She has to live with herself but apparently she has little compassion for others so perhaps is unaffected by the stances she takes.

assiciates were assigned to me... BOTh ARE NO LONGE THERE. I spent alot of money for some docs that I probably could have gotten for less with someone who is actually STILL THERE! Am now getting a "real" lawyer who exists long term... would never recomment her again... she is NOT THERE!

Alice may have some knowledge, but try getting in contact with her after she has taken your money. Her secretary Tracy is terrible. This office never gets back to you. Another attorney recommended her. She worked on my mom's trust which took a while to get completed. Now when I have questions, all i get from Tracy, is that Alice is Very Busy or she is out of the office.

While Alice Reiter Feld seemed to be a competent attorney, she was extremely condescending and very difficult to get along with. Her assistants seemed to have the same attitude. She was very slow in completing the work and the people in her office seemed to be very disorganized. I would not recommend.

She and her staff in trying to work with my mother's needs were cold and did not have any compassion. I am sorry I gave her a retainer. It was an uncomfortable experience and there is no contact with her.
