One of Edmonton's finest to sit the bench. She sat morning chambers and when realizing how complex my situation was arranged to have us all come back in the afternoon to hear more. She listened to each side, was fair and impartial, and open minded and creative in seeking a just solution. It's unfortunate my case could not go forward with this justice. I would like to add that I happened to sit through a hearing of another party that was before this lady. The gentleman was a very odd character who had some strange ideas and issues such as considering him self separate from some sort of corporate entity. Yet Justice Veit listned with great patience and made a very fair order in a situation where many other justices would have just thumped the fellow and gone on. Wish we had more like her on the bench.
