With our filing now complete, AVID’s principal attorney Aron Rofer and his staff have continued to be accessible to us when miscellaneous questions. Our financial situation disintegrated with the economy, but certainly not without a long, extended fight to try to stay afloat. Thanks to AVID though, we are now on the road to recovery. Their firm worked out a program to allow us to begin a new financial life. Because of our income levels, the federally- mandated means test required that we apply for a Chapter 13. As our plan came together, Aron worked to reduce our payments to levels that were acceptable to all parties concerned. It is not an easy road to go down, but it is far better than the previous one with less stress and agonizing letters and threats from creditors. We are grateful to AVID Law Center, but most importantly to the staff that still continues to answer our few occasional questions and keep us posted on anything we may need to know regarding our case.
