Wow I wish I had a chance to read some of these reviews before I hired Denis some years ago. We explained that my nephew had a previous arrest that we didn't want to be revealed during trial. Denise filed a motion for the state not to introduce this into evidence, being that it would be a negative strike against my nephew's character. While questioning one of the witnesses, Denis brought up the very thing that we wanted omitted. Again he, himself had filed the motion to not bring it up. My nephew turned down an 8 plea offer to proceed with trial and fight for his freedom. Denis was unprepared at trial and was argumentative with the client after he was called on his mistake. He was unprofessional by showing my nephew the proper way to choke a victim without leaving marks, boastful about his success as a competition fighter. He told my nephew that he had a 15 year old and if he was on the jury he would convict him for those charges. My nephew got life and 60. Denise never even apologized

Dennis is the best attorney in Atlanta. We have used him several times and each time he has had the case dismissed and / or the least possible sentence that could have been. I highly recommend him for any legal matter that you may come across. I know he will be locked into my phone and though I hope we don't need him again IN the event that we do Dennis will be the first person we call.

Dennis is legendary. That's all I've got. And for all the haters on here, you need to take a deeper look into your case and maybe the way that you treated Dennis Scheib. There's a reason Dennis may have had it with sone of you on here. Some of y'all are just impossible and it shows. Clients & and the loved ones on here who are complaining about Dennis think your cases have been simple but y'all need to think again. The majority of cases that he takes are very high-profile, & they are usually drug & murder cases that are very complicated. Dennis does everything in his power to make sure he takes care of his clients. Y'all just remember there are two sides to every story. I know for a fact that the majority of Judges that Dennis goes in front of respect & admire him for his solid work in all of his cases. Whoever stated that Dennis is a cop is a total idiot. Dennis started out his career as a police officer. He then went to law school to become an attorney. Police are not attorneys.

Worst attorney EVER! I hired Dennis to defend my brother and the judge gave him 44 years and Dennis acted like he didn't know what was going on. He did not defend or even try to fight the case. Dennis and his paralegal Robyn are rude, disrespectful and uninformed. They both are combative and argumentative. He does NOT care about his clients and is very money hungry. He does not prepare for cases and can care less about what happens to his clients. He did not want to go see his client, until the day of the trial/court. I had to argue with him and his paralegal and demand that someone go down to speak with his client. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE if you care about your life or families life DO NOT HIRE him!

Dennis is the best attorney around! We retained a previous attorney in McDonough and she lied and took our $ HOWEVER, once we fired her and retained Dennis he was very knowledgeable and helped us ALOT with the case we had. I would HIGHLY recommend Dennis in any court case! We have him on speed dial in case we need him again! He was very easy to communicate with really prompt in returning calls and answering questions! Excellent Attorney !

Scheib is an impostor, unethical and an incompetent attorney. I had a misdemeanor that he allowed to be upgraded to a felony. I told him that there was a witness saw the everything who could exonerate me. He never once attempted to contact the guy. He told me to meet him in court and he never showed. He sent an uniformed attorney that never educated herself on the case because she was obviously coached by Scheib to throw me under the bus. I told her all we needed was the witness and she responded that it didn't make a difference and that if I didn't plead guilty now that I would go to prison right now. He told me 1st Offender meant that no one can see the conviction but the FBI and no employer or business partner could see it either. I can document hundreds of thousands of dollars in losses because Scheib lied to me about the background checks. I'm filing a complaint with the Bar Association on Monday and I'm going to sue him for Malpractice ASAP. Join me. Power in numbers.

Dennis and his office staff were very responsive to my needs. I was kept up to date on all proceedings. His knowledge of the criminal defense process is extensive. I was very happy with the value for my money and would not hesitate to refer anyone to him.

Dennis has stood beside me willing to get, and did indeed receive a contempt of court charge. If this guy believes you no one will fight harder. Always had great results with Mr. Scheib on my team.

I heard about Dennis from my aunt. I called him on his cell phone and he agreed to meet me at the court house to discuss my son's case. I was happy with the way he talked to me. He always answered his cell phone and answered all my questions. I never felt rushed when talking with him. I always felt he had my son's best interest at heart. I would highly recommend Dennis to my friends and family. I was extremely satisfied with his representation.

Dennis Scheib is not the best lawyer in Atlanta not even a good lawyer in Atlanta, his website explains on these high profile cases he "represented" but if you research these cases. Dennis was only a part of the case with the outcome of the client, retaining a different lawyer for the final outcome of the case Dennis started and in my experience mishandled the entire time! I too myself have now had to hire an additional lawyer to try and clean up Dennis's errors and poor judgements of this case! I implore you to do research on this lawyer before hiring him! Why should you, have to experience added on stress that Dennis brings to an already a stressful situation?? And why should you have to pay more money to hire an additional lawyer after all of Dennis's mistakes!! One lawyer should be enough for one client.. That is if it's a Competent Lawyer hired from the start!!! GoodLuck

I have been knowing Dennis for over 20 years and he has been nothing but a great attorney to myself as well as my family members dennis has been outstanding he's been very loyal us and did whatever he could to help us what people need relies they are human just us. sometime we expect the world from these attorneys yes we pay them todo the imposible to get us out the jam that we got in but we also have to realize is only so much that they can do Dennis I just want to say thank you for everything you have done for me and my family

I agree Also with previous reviews! Dennis is Completely Unaware of his clients! He yells and boasts "ohh I am So this... and So that... From first visit with client I paid him to represent, it was Clearly a Mistake!!! But I allowed him to fast talk me into thinking he would resolve and correct his first of many mistakes on this case! Silly lamb I was! So I reach out with this review, maybe his fast talking Empty Resolutions wont hurt others in future! This practice is Unorganized, Completely Unprofessional, and more like a call center only with Dennis being just a seat filler beside a client in court! There are SoMany qualified attorneys here in Atlanta, my suggestion would be: find an attorney that can stand behind what comes out of his mouth! Dennis was a waste of MyLoved ones time! Definately a Waste of my time, energy, and cash!! I expected maybe not such a great outcome from the beginning with the arrest, But Never did I Expect all the Negative that came along with this lawfirm!!

To tell the complete story, Mr. Scheib was hired to defend a person on a murder charge. The family made things worse, when the mother testified in court at the trial falsely. The jury convicted her son of aiding in shooting a woman in the back killing her. Now it's all Mr. Scheib's fault. Attorneys defend people and contract to get paid win or lose a case. Now the family says Scheib is a bad attorney. The family should look in the mirror. They were very dishonest. They aided greatly in getting their son convicted of murder. Now Scheib is the bad guy!!! He is a honest and good attorney.

This lawyer is not to be trusted by any means. He makes more of an effort to harm his clients than he does to help them. His ego is larger than life, he will ignore all positive facts in your case. His staff is even worst. Dennis took my money, lied about filing motions, breach our contract, refused to read the state's discovery, lacked technology to view state's evidence, refused to advise or relay info from the state and much more. Don't waste your money! Are justice system is screwed up enough in this country with all the stupid under educated cops, of which Dennis happens to be one. would you hire a cop to defend you against other cops? I didn't think so..

avoid this lawyer, he will take your money and turn on you right before trial, and either quit at trial or right before so your basically stuck, this attorney willl NOT refund any monies you have paid to him so you have to get a public defender if your funds are low. he is the only lawyer I have ever seen that talks bad to and about his own clients to their own family members. he is the worst i have everrrrr seen. avoid avoid avoid..he likes dumb people that he feel will not challenge him, he will make you feel all comfortable at first and then once you sign the documents he will either avoid you or talk down to you. he will curse you out and ask for a money in the same breath. he is a piece of work...
