He has to be the worst lawyer ever. He didn't listen to what I asked him to do, charging me $3000 in one month to tell me what I told him.. He didn't use negotiation skills which cost me thousands more in the dispute with the neighbour over a simple matter. He went on to fight in court for the wrong land for three years; I had the deed. It was utterly ridiculous. He seemed to be working for the opposition party on my dime. He thought that my quarter acre, unbuildable farm land was worth $500,000...because after three years he didn't know the size of it. It was worth probably $1500 because the only one who would buy it was the neighbour because of the Planning Act; which he didn't know. He took 10 months to fill-out forms correctly. The emails and invoice I used to defend myself against him disappeared out of my email box and that of the defence lawyer. Please protect yourself; do not hire this lawyer.

Do not recommend this lawyer in any areas of expertise. Most of his positive google reviews are fake and planted !

Represented me in family law, was not working for my best interest, but his own, “turn on the tap” being a common phrase of his. He knows how to look and play the part, but lacked in competence and is extremely self serving. He was unprepared for court appearances, I had to myself bring and provide him with necessary documents for last court appearance, he was on his telephone during court day making real estate deals. The presiding Judge requested he leave and return dressed appropriately. He used his inflated fees at the end to coerce me at our last court appearance, into accepting unjust terms of settlement for my son and I (ex. less than table amounts in child support) to himself be able to immediately profit from the proceeds of sale of matrimonial home. Needless to say I terminated the relationship.

Does not work in clients interest. Advices to sign documents despite the fact that other side failed conditions.

Someone recommended Mr. Delaney for a personal injury case. Office and entrance to office not accessible. Sorry, moving on.

Terrible, totally agree with the above comments. All he was concerned about is getting paid. Never completed his 'reporting letter' at end of my situation, even after I paid up front. Been a year and he still has not completed, still says he's too busy! Never acted in my best interests, had documents presented to me that were wrong and tried to tell me to sign anyways just to get it done! amazing to have that from someone who hasn't even read it before giving it to his client. You would think for the hourly price he charged that he would produce something. Would never rec'd his firm to anyone and always pass on my terrible experience to anyone looking for a lawyer.
